Bit disappointed, visiting the #YorkshireThreePeaks to recce part of the route prior to an event with #SkyBettingAndGaming next month, when we missed the #FlyingScotsman by a whisker, however, we missed the forecasted rain, and had a successful day on the hill, #AllInADaysWork

was carried out whilst @MountainResqUK medics continued to administer treatment and monitoring. The casualty was handed to @YorksAmbulance #Paramedics for transfer to hospital. The team were debriefed and decontaminated just after midnight. All @HVMRT wish the casualty well. 2/2

Yesterday at 9pm, @HVMRT were called to assist @WestYorksPolice with the search for a #MissingPerson on Black Hill, near #Holmfirth. MRT personnel located the person near the summit and administered treatment to stabilise their condition. A speedy evacuation from the hilltop 1/2

June 1-7 is #VolunteersWeek. #MountainRescue in the UK is an entirely voluntary service, delivered free of charge to the casualty, and we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the dedicated volunteers who make that possible, especially given the challenges of the pandemic.
