Breast cancer care is an ongoing conversation. Questions, priorities, side effects, and goals may change throughout treatment and survivorship. Patients deserve clear information and the opportunity to keep discussing what matters most with their care team. As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, let’s remember: communication, shared decision-making, and support should continue at every stage of the journey. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #SharedDecisionMaking

Every person deserves access to timely, high-quality, and individualized breast cancer care. Clinical and biological information combined can help care teams look beyond broad assumptions and make decisions based on the person and their specific breast cancer. This article in @blackdoctor_org provides excellent information about receiving timely care, advocating for yourself, and the importance of knowing the biology of the tumor. 📄Read More: ow.ly/Olrb5101wag

1,826 days. 5 years. Most endocrine therapy treatment courses last this long. For someone living with the effects of endocrine therapy, 1,826 represents the daily decisions, side effects, and trade-offs of 5 years of endocrine therapy. Individualized care isn’t only about treating and preventing cancer recurrence, it’s about considering the person living through treatment and leveraging precision guidance from genomic insights to decide if 1,826 is the right number for the patient. #BreastCancerAwareness #EndocrineTherapy

Five years down. Five to go. This October, Adrianne is halfway through 10 years of endocrine therapy. Her MammaPrint Low result provided insight into her risk of recurrence and the benefit of extended therapy, giving her greater confidence to stay the course. Every Story Is Unique. Every Care Decision Matters. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #EndocrineTherapy

The H&E slide is becoming the new genomic test. Seeing AI match the 70-gene MammaPrint panel from routine pathology at #ESMO26 was a glimpse of where diagnostics is heading. Big promise, but prospective validation is yet to come #DigitalPathology #AI @Agendia

Could some breast cancer patients need less treatment? Long-term results from the STO-3 study provide important insight. Postmenopausal patients with MammaPrint UltraLow Risk tumors who received only two years of tamoxifen had a 97% breast cancer-specific survival rate at 20 years. 🌟 Genomic information can help patients and their doctors better understand a tumor’s biology and support more personalized conversations about treatment. 🩷 Learn more about the STO-3 trial: agendia.com/landmark-trials/… #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #EndocrineTherapy

HR+/HER2− does not mean one disease. Approximately 70% of female breast cancers are HR+/HER2−.¹ Yet tumors with the same receptor status can have different genomic risk and molecular biology. MammaPrint + BluePrint can help reveal those differences, adding insight to more personalized treatment conversations. Same receptors. Different biology. Precision medicine should be accessible to every woman. @tigerlilycares works to educate, advocate for, and empower women while confronting disparities in breast cancer care. In MY LIFE Matters, Agendia’s Erica Pentak explores how genomic testing, inclusive research, and patient advocacy can help ensure care reflects each tumor’s biology, not assumptions based on race or clinical features alone. Because every story is unique and every care decision matters. Chemo is recommended. Now which regimen? For HR+/HER2−, BluePrint Luminal B breast cancer, #FLEXStudy data showed different outcomes by MammaPrint genomic risk: ➡️ High Risk 2: 3-year IDFS was 100% with anthracycline-containing AC-T versus 94.8% with TC. ➡️ High Risk 1: 3-year IDFS was 95.9% with either regimen. MammaPrint + BluePrint can add important insight as care teams weigh anticipated benefit, potential toxicity, and each patient’s goals. Precision care goes beyond “chemo or no chemo.” Explore the study: agendia.com/anthracycline-be… #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #PrecisionOncology

Same receptors. Different biology. Two breast tumors can both be classified as HR+/HER2− yet be driven by different underlying biology. BluePrint analyzes gene biology to identify a tumor’s molecular subtype, adding information that may help patients and their care teams make more individualized treatment decisions. Know the receptors. Understand the biology. Learn more: agendia.com/blueprint/ #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #MolecularSubtyping #BluePrint

What if the question isn’t just “chemo or no chemo?” Genomic testing can offer insight into how a cancer may behave and which treatments it may respond to. In @SusanGKomen’s Real Pink podcast, @Agendia Chief Medical Officer, Dr. @william_audehmd discusses how genomic information can help assess recurrence risk, avoid over- or undertreatment, guide treatment selection, and inform decisions before surgery. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, listen and learn why knowing the biology matters. 🎧 realpink.komen.org/the-power… #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #GenomicTesting #SusanGKomen

🔎Lobular breast cancer deserves a closer look. In a MINDACT analysis, approximately 1️⃣ in 6️⃣invasive lobular cancers were classified as MammaPrint High Risk. The finding reinforces an important point: histology and receptor status may not tell the whole story. Genomic risk can add another layer of information to help personalize treatment conversations. Every Story Is Unique. Every Care Decision Matters. Explore the findings: agendia.com/survival-outcome… #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #LobularBreastCancer #MINDACT

Breast cancer can be part of the story, not the whole story. On National Mammography Day, we recognize the importance of screening and early breast cancer detection. But the need for knowledge doesn’t end at screening or diagnosis. Cari shares how greater insight can help identify the treatment a patient needs and why a breast cancer diagnosis should never define the whole person. Schedule your mammogram. Know your options. And remember: you are always more than a diagnosis. 💕 Every Story Is Unique. Every Care Decision Matters. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #NationalMammographyDay

What can genomic profiling reveal before axillary surgery? MammaPrint + BluePrint identify breast cancer tumors more likely to respond to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. A stronger response may increase the chance of clearing cancer from the axillary lymph nodes, potentially allowing select patients to avoid complete axillary dissection, also reducing their risk of lymphedema. In a #FLEXStudy analysis, MammaPrint High Risk 2, BluePrint Basal-subtype tumors had the highest observed rates of sentinel lymph node dissection. Does a larger breast tumor always respond better to chemotherapy? ‼️ Not necessarily‼️ We continue to see evidence that looks beyond clinical features, such as tumor size, to advance our understanding of how breast cancers respond (or may not) to chemotherapy. Dr. Rahman and colleagues analyzed 404 patients with cT3 breast cancer (tumors larger than 5 cm) treated with chemotherapy before surgery. Rates of pathologic complete response (pCR) differed by MammaPrint genomic risk: ➡️ Low Risk: 0% achieved pCR ➡️ High Risk 1: 16.8% achieved pCR ➡️ High Risk 2: 34.3% achieved pCR A pathologic complete response means no residual invasive cancer is found in the breast and sampled lymph nodes at surgery after treatment. Not achieving pCR does not necessarily mean there was no response or benefit. For patients and surgeons, these findings reinforce why looking beyond size matters. MammaPrint + BluePrint provide genomic risk and molecular subtype insights that can add to the clinical picture when discussing treatment before surgery.
