On 27 October 2026, Bihar corn prices hit an ALL-TIME HIGH — right in the middle of Kharif arrivals!
The message is loud and clear, and I wrote it in 20th July 2026 that India needs to import corn, and here we are
2025–26: India exported 23–25 LMT of corn.
2026–27: India could import 30–40 LMT.
From exporting a surplus to importing millions of tonnes.
In just ONE year.

The #Poultry Federation of India I has written a letter to the PMO to control #corn prices,(snippet below) as it is important for feed farmers. However, I find the concern misplaced and not fair in a competitive spirit.
There are certain points where I applaud the PFI for raising concerns, as they are for long-term solutions.
However, there are three points where I have a completely different opinion. I have tried to write those points below. It is open for discussion.

This week price should close positive and above it if this level needs to be defended.
If this level is sustain for some time then it can act as a reversal zone.

The Rise of music of Eastern UP & Bihar- Credit goes to Gen Z.
For far too long, Bhojpuri and Maithili culture has been reduced to stereotypes.
But something beautiful is changing. The music is changing. The narrative is changing. Vulgarity is slowly making way for the richness of our folk traditions, the depth of our poetry, and the timeless soul of our heritage.
And this is just the beginning.
when a society stops apologising for its identity and starts celebrating its heritage, it unlocks its true potential.
