Performer Announcement: P-51D Mustang from @vintagewingsof1 The Robillard Brothers P-51 Mustang from the Michael Potter Collection will be performing at Air Show Atlantic in Saint John, New Brunswick on August 29-30, 2026, at the Saint John Airport! Painted in the markings of 442 Caribou Squadron towards the end of the Second World War. It is dedicated to two brothers who grew up in the Ottawa neighbourhood of Centretown West, Laurent (Larry) and Roger (Rocky) Robillard, both of whom flew with 442 Squadron during World War 2. We are thrilled that Vintage Wings of Canada is bringing this marvel to Saint John for Air Show Atlantic. Its distinct RCAF paint scheme is stunning! Not only did it see combat, it was flown by 2 aces! In the lead up to Air Show Atlantic we will talk extensively about the historic relevance of this aircraft and it's 116... yes 116 combat missions that it flew. The American Heritage Museum is a program of the Collings Foundation, which is responsible for the full restoration and operation of BR601. We are overcome with excitement and gratitude that they are coming to Summerside PEI June 28-29 to showcase their Spitfire at Air Show Atlantic! We have been searching our records. Air Show Atlantic is coming back to Prince Edward Island! On June 28 and 29 we return to the Summerside Airport after 7 years! Initial performers will be announced as early as next week, and the air and static display lineups will be announced gradually over the next several months. The process and move to Summerside from Greenwood is underway. Our partner Tidal Tractor in Port Williams, Nova Scotia gave us the tools to load a transfer truck worth of site material earlier this week. Their skid steer and equipment is a vital part of us being able to execute our travelling air show.
