I built a self-hostable document sharing platform.
Not Dropbox. Not Google Drive. Something leaning closer to a virtual data room - where you actually control what happens after a link is sent.
Introducing HexShare. 🧵

EDUCATION IN SHAMBLES UNDER SEYI MAKINDE AS LAUTECH LECTURERS BEGIN INDEFINITE STRIKE
Academic activities at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) have been thrown into uncertainty as lecturers embark on an indefinite strike over unpaid entitlements and the non-implementation of agreements.
This comes on the back of alarming figures showing that 674,324 children in Oyo State were out of school, according to 2022 education data cited in a recent report by education stakeholders.
From basic education, where hundreds of thousands of children remain excluded from classrooms, to tertiary education, where lecturers are downing tools, the education sector at all levels is in shambles under Governor Seyi Makinde.
For an administration that prides itself on educational development, these troubling realities raise serious questions about its priorities and commitment to the future of Oyo State’s children and young people.
How can Oyo State claim progress when children are out of school and university students face disruptions to their education?

Have you also heard about the gains in the education sector?
Have you heard that TETFund’s funding rose from ₦320 billion in 2023 to ₦1.6 trillion in 2025?
Have you heard about the renegotiated FG–ASUU agreement and the improvements to academic staff remuneration? Or …
Have you also heard that Tinubu is owing ASUU staff three months’ salary?
Have you heard that poverty in Nigeria has increased drastically?
Have you heard that insecurity has gotten worse under Tinubu’s regime?
Have you heard that the cost of electricity has risen so much that many families have started buying solar systems worth millions of naira?
Have you heard about the healthcare crisis under Tinubu’s regime?
Have you heard that the number of people leaving Nigeria for a better life has increased under his government?
Have you heard about the number of people who have died or committed suicide due to poverty in the country?
As for the NELFUND you mentioned, let’s say people collect the loan and use it to go to school. Where is the job they will use to pay it back? Or is it people who can barely afford three square meals a day that will pay back a loan for a certificate they cannot use?
If you don’t repay the loan, you cannot leave the country. I hope you know that.

And regarding NELFUND, I’m not sure where you get your information from — the body had debunk similar claim in the past. See here: punchng.com/student-loan-ben…
