This is such a great way to take advantage of defenses playing off of Ausar
1) Fade Duncan to the spot next to Ausar
2) Immediately run a DHO to force Ausar’s defender to contest Duncan’s shot
3) Hit Ausar on the roll if Duncan doesn’t have an open shot
More of this in the offense, please!

Every single decision the Pelicans make just continues to showcase the lack of organizational synergy. The front office is still valuing Herb Jones at two first round picks, but the coach won't play him 20 minutes per game?
Herb Jones is averaging just 17 minutes through New Orleans’ first three games, even as the team struggles to close out opponents. His defensive impact, trade interest, uncertain future add to the questions facing the Pelicans.

Lowest passer rating allowed by NFL rookie cornerbacks this season:
🔒 Keith Abney II, DET - 26.0
🔒 Avieon Terrell, ATL - 65.5
🔒 Hezekiah Masses, LV - 70.7
🔒 Will Lee III, CAR - 76.1
🔒 Malik Muhammad, CHI - 81.8
Are they going to investigate TJ Hockenson too?
𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: NFL sports bettors are demanding that the FBI investigate the Lions after Jahmyr Gibbs took a knee instead of walking into the end zone for an easy touchdown.
The betting spread was -3.5 for the Lions.
An extremely suspicious ending 🧐
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No evidence exists of bettors demanding an FBI investigation into this play. Jahmyr Gibbs intentionally slid short of the end zone to run out the clock and set up the Lions' game-winning field goal, the correct strategy per Dan Campbell and reports.

"Got to get him more touches. Definitely."
Coleman had 11 touches for 69 yards in his return from IR.

That was great by Dan Campbell to go for that 4th & 1. If you punt there, in the paths where the Packers kick a field goal or score a touchdown, most of them would involve the Lions getting the ball back with little time remaining. By missing the 4th down, the Lions were almost guaranteed to get the ball back with some time remaining. Don't know if he was thinking about all of this or just aggressive by either way it worked out
