As the temperature rises this week and the weather gets hotter, please remember to care for wildlife by leaving out a shallow bowl of fresh water for them 💚

ESCAPED from the Quantock Staghounds today! He went through hell, chased from pillar to post. We thought it was the end when we overheard them crowing over their radio that he had slowed to a walk... and then that he layed down. Somehow he found the strength to go on and away.

Catapult attacks on wildlife are exploding across the UK and many of the people behind them are kids.
Birds, foxes and swans are being shot for fun, filmed and shared online. The RSPCA has recorded nearly 900 weapon attacks in just three years, a shocking rise in cruelty

Even in the States, every single person over 6 months of age can get a Covid booster. Yet the NHS is vaccinating only the over75s, those in care homes and the severely immunosuppressed.
It’s absolutely scandalous @wesstreeting.

The cost-of-living crisis is still the number one issue for people across the country.
Over 7 million households are going without essentials like food & heating.
It doesn’t have to be this way.

Great at to see @ChrisGPackham up for a fight.
Anyway, just because you can’t see the snails does not mean they are not important. Oxygen is invisible but quite important…
(And actually she is wrong, you can see them, they are not microscopic)
@CommunityPlann1
So @RachelReevesMP says ‘some snails on the site that are a protected species or something . . . They are microscopic snails that you cannot even see, and they haven’t been able to build there’ . . . Or something . . . or something . Spoiling for a fight I feel . Ready ?

Kemi Badenoch blames those crossing borders for our problems. It’s a lie aimed to distract.
The real issue is a system protecting the super-rich while nurses & carers can’t make ends meet. Tax wealth fairly, fund public services properly. This is how we give Britain hope again.

Neil Duncan-Jordan, MP for Poole, has warned that loopholes in current laws are allowing fox hunting to continue under different names despite the 2005 ban.
He has written to Angela Eagle, the new minister for rural affairs, urging her to act “before another season of suffering.” While welcoming the Government’s plan to ban trail hunting, he said the legislation must be watertight and implemented quickly, warning that for twenty years hunts have exploited gaps in the law while wildlife has paid the price.

Big news in the the fight for a #furfree future!
Fashion media giant Condé Nast (owners of Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair) will no longer feature new fur in any of its publications! 🦊
This huge move comes after pressure from animal welfare organisations and campaigners 👏
Cruelty has never been on trend, but we're hopeful that these publications can help spread the word far and wide that compassion has a place in fashion.
