Fully agree Herman - "Dr Nasiphi Moya’s leadership is part of a broader story of Black women stepping forward and shaping the future of South Africa". So proud of Dr Nasiphi Moya.
🚨A LEGACY WORTH CELEBRATING
As we close off Dr Nasiphi Moya Week, we reflect on what this week was truly about: celebrating a Black woman in leadership, recognising her journey and acknowledging the work being done in the City of Tshwane. Leadership should be judged honestly, by the challenges inherited, the decisions made and the progress achieved.
For me, this week was never only about a Mayor. It was about representation. It was about showing young Black women and girls that they can sit at the table, lead institutions, make difficult decisions and serve their communities with purpose. Dr Nasiphi Moya’s leadership is part of a broader story of Black women stepping forward and shaping the future of South Africa.
So as we close the week, let us celebrate the progress, acknowledge the challenges that remain and continue to expect excellence from those entrusted with public office. The celebration may end, but the example, the responsibility and the work continue. A legacy worth celebrating.

The hypocrisy of the DA and @CilliersB is astounding
More than 30 people died during the 2023 Hammanskraal cholera outbreak while @CilliersB was Mayor.
Where were his demands for accountability then?
The current cluster of cases is NOT cholera. Only three people have required hospital care. Zero deaths.
Those are the facts.
Looking forward to being a quest DJ on Impressions Radio tonight. Hopefully, I can play some decent music. Sweet Caroline, Yellow definitely being played.

To the residents of Tshwane, I am committing myself to five pledges today.
I am putting my name and signature to these five pledges because I believe public leadership must come with personal responsibility.
These are the commitments I am asking you to judge me against over the next five years.
Five pledges. One Capital. A City That Works.

It has finally happened. According to Polymarket, Dr Nasiphi #Moya has surpassed everyone else and is the most likely next mayor of #Tshwane. People are putting their money where their mouths are! We are ready for next week and the next 5 years!

It is always great to unmask anonymous attempts to stop ActionSA from contesting the elections, even if this one should have been written in crayon.
It seems the ANC is running scared of ActionSA. Good, we are flattered. Run ANC Run.
DEVELOPING:
Bopha Foundation has announced that it will initiate legal proceedings against the IEC this Friday - demanding for the deregistration of ActionSA.
The foundation asserts that ASA is not in compliance with its governing constitution.
The NPO states that internal democratic procedures have been bypassed.
We've reached out to Action SA for comment.

Fully agree with Herman. South Africa will only move forward if we recognize that we are all South Africans and no matter a persons place of birth, we all deserve dignity, respect and equal opportunities. We do not need more walls and seperation.
🚨 STOP HELEN ZILLE AND THE DA FROM BRINGING CAPE TOWN’S WALL POLITICS TO ALEXANDRA!
Today, I am on the ground in Alexandra, engaging residents about the importance of standing together to stop Helen Zille and the DA from pursuing a similar approach to what is being planned in Cape Town; building a wall to separate the poor from the rich.
We cannot allow Alexandra to become the next target of a politics that seeks to divide communities instead of addressing inequality.
Alexandra and Sandton may exist side by side, but their residents deserve equal dignity, respect and opportunities. The answer to poverty is not to build walls to separate the poor from the wealthy, but to confront the inequalities that continue to divide our society.

The DA tells you that a vote for a smaller party is a vote to let the ANC back in.
Remind me who the DA is working with in the GNU, and who they made President?

ActionSA is under no obligation to prop up failed mayors.
In Tshwane, we walked away from a dysfunctional coalition and focused on delivering for residents where the DA fell short. We will never sacrifice service delivery to protect political egos.
