This is huge! A Conservative Party of BC Government will provide relief to British Columbians by raising the province's basic personal exemption from $13,216 to $32,000, the most generous in Canada.

"The Premier is a little misinformed" ... is that the same as a L I E ? #bcpoli
Today, B.C NDP leader David Eby was asked about federal funding and not getting the 50/50 regulations passed, claiming nevertheless that B.C is still able to access federal funding. Lenore Newman, Director of the Food and Agriculture Institute, University of the Fraser Valley, joined @JasJohalBC to debunk that claim. I was joined by the outstanding Conservative candidates in Surrey and hardworking British Columbians today at Crown Building Supplies to announce that we are supercharging BC's economy. A new Conservative government will approve major projects in 120 days or less, cut red tape, and eliminate the PST on business investments in machinery, tools and software. Less delay, less red tape, more building.

Expect the flailing NDP to start making up lies about Conservatives raising auto insurance costs. NDP lines on affordability are as credible as the “$1000 grocery rebate” British Columbians never received. Besides, Adrian Dix wrote a VERY similar letter to stakeholders in 2017.
Leaked B.C. Conservative letter to lawyers, private insurers with party agenda for auto insurance, should put Lorne Doerkson on defensive. What else is he planning that he's sharing with insiders without telling the public?

Our plan to supercharge BC's economy: ✅ Approve major projects in 120 days or less ✅ Cut red tape back to 2017 levels with a one-in, two-out law ✅ Scrap the PST on business investments in machinery, tools and software Less delay. Less red tape. More building.

It’s not a “secret letter”. Countless organizations write to political parties to gauge their position on various policies. The BC NDP themselves write and respond to those inquiries. In fact, they did just that in 2017 when they lied about their plan to implement no fault insurance which has stripped accident victims of all their rights and created the most oppressive insurance regime in North America. At ZERO savings to customers I might add.
Eby reacts to BC Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson’s “secret letter” to insurance industry groups in which he wrote, “everything’s on the table, including opening auto insurance to private competition.” “I’m astonished how reckless, foolish, and shameful this secret deal is.”

I'd love to see how that doubling of ICBC rates was calculated Plain & simple, that's an OUTRAGEOUS LIE! The NDP can't stand on their own record, so day after day they trot out one LIE after the other. Pretty pathetic given the NDP have been in power nearly a decade :( #bcpoli
Deeply concerning.

A new Conservative government will make BC the most competitive and attractive place in North America to invest, to build and to work. Strong leadership for serious times. On October 24, vote Conservative.

Hmmmm ...typical nonsensical NDP math. You guys, given your massive budget deficits and missing $1.5 billion in revenue, are totally unable to calculate anything that's reliable! That includes your COMPLETELY UNSUBSTANTIATED claim ICBC rates will double! #bcpoli
Let's be clear - this would double car insurance rates for British Columbians. It's truly shocking that the interim leader of the Conservatives would commit to doing this behind closed doors.

Donald Reagh was recommended for hospice care after a terminal cancer diagnosis. But the bed never came. He died alone in a long-term care facility not built for end-of-life care. This is the NDP healthcare system. BC families deserve better.

DAVID EBY IN HIS OWN WORDS: "WAIT TIMES TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE" Today, at his own campaign event, David Eby said this about surgery wait times in B.C.: "Right now in the province, people can wait 10 weeks for surgeries, but they can also wait 50 weeks or more for some surgeries, and that is totally unacceptable." He's right. It is totally unacceptable. And it happened on his watch. Under David Eby and the NDP: Nearly 17,000 British Columbians died on surgical and diagnostic waitlists between 2022 and 2026. That is more than 10 people a day, according to the NDP government's own data. The wait from referral to treatment is now over 32 weeks, more than a month longer than when the NDP took office. Over the past three years, an ER somewhere in B.C. was closed on more than 8 in 10 days. David Eby and the NDP called a snap election to change the subject. Today, David Eby changed it back. They broke B.C.'s health care system. Now they want four more years to fix their own mess. It's time to get back to basics. Open ERs. Shorter waits. Care that is there when you need it. Strong leadership for serious times.

Our commitment is rock solid: publicly funded, universally accessible health care. We'll maintain funding, train more doctors in BC, and launch an expert commission in our first 100 days. #bcpoli

Eby fearmongers about healthcare cuts. But it’s his government that cancelled the healthcare projects BC desperately needed. Unlike the NDP, a Conservative government will NOT cut healthcare.

David Eby’s latest tax hike will drive doctors out of BC, at a time when we desperately need more. Eby’s plan is to tax doctors to pay for doctors. I've run a hardware store. If I'd tried that kind of math, I'd have been out of business in a month. 323,000 British Columbians are looking for a family doctor right now and can't find one. Doctors already get recruited to Alberta and the States every week. Why would we give them another reason to go? Here's how we got here. David Eby and the NDP let spending run away from them. I disagreed with John Horgan on a lot of things, but he handed over the books in decent shape. Four years later we've got a record deficit and a new tax on the people we need most. I'd rather spend the next four years growing the BC economy so there's more revenue for health care, without chasing doctors and job creators out of the province. Strong leadership for serious times.
