Today we basically did show and tell but in a room w like 60 aspiring therapists. There was a lot of snapping. 😂😂

Having class in the health sciences building is so funny bc there’s bros all over poring over flash cards for anatomy classes and such, meanwhile, we had a drum circle yesterday. Very different things goin on lol.

The term “wounded healers” has come up a lot in class discussion so far, and I keep thinking of how this is embodied in Jesus. As we discuss our own woundings as assets in therapeutic practice, I remember this: “…by His wounds we are healed.” (Is. 53:5) #JesusisLord

I also worked out at 6 AM again today 💪🏻💪🏻 and the train was a good call. The last two trips into the city by car made me almost homicidal bc WDYM I left TWO HOURS early and was 10 mins late for class??????? 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

Somehow being the piano teacher in my workout class has led to me being the person who fixes people’s struggles to do ladder Heismans bc trainers are often not good at getting people to execute coordination like that. That is my department lol.

I know all the boomer parents think their millennial kids are cutting them off at the behest of their therapists but today mine told me that I don’t have to choose between anger and passive acceptance, that I can choose prayer. 😐😂
