So excited to join Coming in Hot!
I truly appreciate Brent Wallace’s belief in me, and super excited to join Graeme and Yorkie.
Lastly, it’s personally been a really tough last few weeks and cannot thank Sens fans enough for their support, it’s blown me away!
Let’s go!

What a fun, weird, and terrible game!

#Sens fall 6-5 in OT after a miraculous comeback
- they were awful for 45 minutes, great way to salvage a point
- Ersson and Johansson not good enough
- Offence came late from Cozens, Batherson, Stutzle
- Good point
Come join @ComingInHotSens post-game!

The Senators comeback from down 5-1 in the third period to get a point.
What a gutsy comeback.
I’ve never seen a Senators team do something like this in a long time.
The Senators win a comeback for the ages......
Shane Pinto ties it 5-5 with 1:40 left.
The Senators were down 5-1 midway through the 3rd period.
Crazy stuff.
Cue the Senators comeback.
The Senators were down 5-1 and lifeless.
Now it's 5-4.
Now they have 7 minutes left to tie this game.

5-5-0 since Eklund got hurt. Haven't won 2 in a row since game 6 (we're on game 14). Past 10 games:

▸2.23 xGF/60 (28th)
▸2.14 GF/60 (23rd)
▸22.57 SF/60 (28th)
▸10.00 HDCF/60 (26th)
▸13.5 PP% (28th)
What's really insane is they've scored more goals than expected. They've created among the lowest shots/chances of any team. This is a serious issue, by the way. #GoSensGo
I'm not sure Kasper Halttunen is ready for the NHL, but he has one thing the Senators desperate need.
An elite shot.

Andre Burakovsky (lower body) will not return to tonight’s game.
Andre Burakovsky (bas du corps) ne sera pas de retour au jeu ce soir.
Burakovsky doesn't start the 2nd period for the Senators.
As of my unofficial counter.
The Senators have lost a player to injury in 8 of their first 14 games.
For a defensive team, the Senators love to get their defence activated.
Ottawa was one of the league leaders last year in goals from defenceman.

With his assist on Kleven's goal. Tim Stützle is now 6th all-time in Sens history in road points with 194 and his sits alone in 6th for assists on the road with 119.
The Senators need this type of dynamic skill sooner rather than later.
Jaxon Cover continues to dominate in the OHL.
His upward trajectory continues to uptick at a very fast pace.

Back to back games like these, well into a losing streak, are usually the kind that result in big changes.
