🚨 WHY IS EVERYONE PREPARING FOR THE WORST AT THE SAME TIME?
🇬🇧 UK: The government tells every household to keep 3 days of supplies, including 9 litres of water per person as a part of "Be Ready" campaign.
🇫🇷 France: The "Tous responsables" guide asks for a 72-hour kit with water, food, basic medicines and a radio.
🇯🇵 Japan: Japanese Minister Hosono urges citizens to stockpile food, water and toilet supplies ahead of potential disasters.
🇩🇪 Germany: Ideally 10 days of food, water, medicine and hygiene supplies, with three days also considered valuable.
Governments are essentially warning that food supplies, electricity and payment systems could all collapse at once.
France calls the first three days of a crisis the decisive window, when you may have to survive on your own before services recover.
Governments saying the threats as cyberattacks, extreme weather, hostile states and critical supply chain disruptions.
The Pentagon is now telling major US military bases to plan to run for 90 days without outside help.
Government officials insist none of this means war is near.
So why is everyone preparing at the same time?

China may be the FIRST country to burst the AI bubble.
Its stock market, the world’s 2nd-largest, is now OFFICIALLY in a bear market.
Its blue-chip CSI 300 has now fallen -20% from its peak.
Mainland stocks have lost $2.4T since May.
What caused? AI.
Over the past 2 years, investors piled into Chinese AI stocks until they made up 42% of the entire market.
That frenzy sent new listings flying.
GPU makers Moore Threads and MetaX jumped 400% and 700% on their debuts, and robot maker Unitree’s IPO was 8,000x oversubscribed.
By the peak, the STAR 50, China’s AI index, was trading near 250x earnings.
But the profits never caught up to the prices, and investors started selling.
By late October, the index had fallen 40%, erasing $480B.
AI makers MiniMax and Zhipu down over -85%.
Unitree, Moore Threads, and MetaX all cut in half.
AI was too big to fall alone. It took the whole market with it.
Moreso, Morgan Stanley sees another 10–15% drop before a bottom.
So far, the selling CONTINUES.

Random Thoughts on Dangote… it’s just crony capitalism, what’s the big deal?
1. Why are people wailing about the KPC Dangote sale without specifying what provision of law the sale may have contravened?
2. The shares were offered to the public but we never bought, protesting they were overpriced, now that Dangote bought the overpriced shares, we are suddenly whining? We should be happy we got a good price.
3. The only grievance is that our increased NSSF statutory deductions may have been used to warehouse the shares awaiting Dangote, but that’s just crony capitalism, which is the order to the day.
4. Ironically, the founding fathers and sons of crony capitalism are wailing the loudest? Yet when Uhuru sold Telkom and bought it back at a loss to the Kenyan people they were quiet? At least KPC is putting money into our public coffers, the Telkom shenanigans defrauded us. 🤷🏽♂️

Aliko Dangote plans to invest an additional US$ 1.5 Billion (KSh 194.8 Billion) to expand Kenya Pipeline Company's approximately 1,300 km network, according to the Financial Times.
The announcement follows his acquisition of 25% of KPC for KSh 42.5 Bn ($327.4 Mn), involving 4.5 Bn shares traded on the NSE on October 19.
Speaking at the FT Africa Summit in London, Dangote said the acquisition would support petroleum products distribution, Bloomberg Terminal and Reuters reported.
The investment complements Dangote's proposed $16 Bn oil refinery in Lamu. Financing and implementation details of the pipeline expansion remain undisclosed.
Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has confirmed his firm acquired a 25% stake in Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), according to a Bloomberg Terminal report on October 21, 2026.
Speaking at an event in London, Dangote said the investment would support the distribution of petroleum products.
The announcement identifies the buyer behind Monday’s KSh 42.5 Bn block trade involving 4.5 Bn shares, equivalent to 24.76% of KPC.
President William Ruto had confirmed the shares were acquired from public entities. Business Daily reported at least eight parastatals participated in the sale.
Major post-IPO public investors included NSSF, UFAA and State-backed pension schemes. The individual sellers and Dangote’s acquiring legal entity remain undisclosed.

Aliko Dangote confirming he’s the mystery buyer behind the 25.76% KPC block trade (KES 42.5B / $327M) changes everything at the NSE. 🧵
While news headlines highlight short-term losses for local pension funds, the real story is structural:
expect the market to reprice KPC stock well past its current ~KES 9.02 floor toward double digits as it shifts from a domestic utility to a regional refining proxy. 👇
I cant confirm it but i think this visit was about Kenya pipeline and Dangote.
I dont think we received the dollars from Lagos.

The impact of the listing of Kenya pipeline will realised many years later after deep pockets consolidate control.
Unless dollars for the Dangote 42B KPC shares Tx came in much earlier the KES is in some trouble if the market absorbed it and CBK reserves still declined last week.

This the rush to be top of the pyramid scheme.
Nothing special from quail, Dorper sheep stories, the business will be selling the calves to recoup the import cost.
The actual milk and meat business will be realised muchmuch later.
The government has received about 800 orders from farmers seeking to acquire water buffaloes for milk production as Kenya grapples with a milk shortage linked to drought and the high cost of animal feed, prompting renewed efforts to diversify the country’s dairy sector.
Principal Secretary for State Department of Livestock Development Jonathan Mueke says the government has completed veterinary certification requirements for importing the animals from India and is now working on commercial arrangements, including purchase prices and transportation costs. #Earthwise.
