As part of these sweeping cuts at our company (Chatham/McClatchy), both the Sacramento Bee and Charlotte Observer dismissed their NBA beat writers. That leaves my pal, the excellent @Anthony_Chiang, as the only NBA beat writer among the chain's 28 newspapers. (A reminder that aggregators will have nothing to aggregate if there's nobody actually at the arena and practice courts covering the teams.)
