Apparently I hate democracy and women for telling people who are marginalized and being harmfully legislated against the power they still have to advocate for their wellbeing. Im not sure how you jump to that conclusion, but, okay I guess 🙄

Come January call your local reps, we have more than enough seats in the assembly for the simple majority required for these to never be implemented. The legislature has the power to repeal and amend initiated state statutes.

Alright my Colorado humans Dems got supermajorities in both chambers of the General Assembly, now that one of those props has passed and if the other also passes we must pressure our local representatives to do the right thing and reject 134 and 135.

Right so after researching as they're not amendments but initiatives the Colorado General Assembly has no restrictions on how or when they can reject or amend initiated statutes. For my Colorado mutuals that means we must be contacting our assembly members next year. 1/2

The measure forces it to be put forward, but that doesn't mean it cant be significantly restricted or rejected before implementation. Its 50/50 for a reason and the fight is not over. 2/2

Alright guys, moving on from doom posting for a Last King of Faerie update 7 chapters in and its very good, but thats to be expected. There is a persistent sense of dread, and I'm not sure if its because of the book itself or because this is the last trilogy #reading
