Got feedback from students on Advanced Math and Physics that I teach and coordinate. As it happens, students actually like a bit of challenge, if it's fair and balanced. My student satisfaction score has been growing year-to-year across the board, and I genuinely enjoy teaching!

We need a radical overhaul of the system for public academic grant funding. My rant in today's Australian: "Months of work followed by months of waiting: it is a drawn-out, one-shot, black-box process". I propose a solution: a system that is "minimalist, consultative, and fast"
