This is what check swings will look like under MLB’s 45-degree rule.
(These were ruled check swings in Game 7 of the 1965 World Series.)

This guy never gets the recognition he deserves. That changes today. Andy Steinbrenner was voted the Southeast District Assistant Coach of the Year! This program is not what it is without what he does teaching our players the game but also how to be great students and people.

George Petak vote was 31 years ago. Thank you George for that generational act of selflessness. I wonder if the whiny voters who signed the recall petition in Racine County have attended and enjoyed some Brewers games this year.
Mac is the steady, consistent presence in our infield and the middle of the order.
Played all 58 games last season. Hit .330, walked a team high 34 times. 5 HR, 10 2B, 3 3B, 10 SB.
As steady as they come at 3B. Good hands and good feet with plenty of arm.
So. 3B Macay Wagner (@BobcatBSBWI) has put together quality swings throughout the day, one of which a home run to dead center field.

Cal stole 4 bases today. He is 15 for 15 stealing bases this fall. He's hitting .421 with a .577 OBP in 26 PA.
He doesn't strike out. He runs a 6.6. He has a 1.85 pop time. He calls his own pitches for a staff with multiple d1 caliber arms.
Easy decision
So. C Calvin Hurtgen (@BobcatBSBWI) has produced quality at-bat after quality at-bat today.
Strong defender behind the plate; has stolen multiple bases on the day as well.

Last year Eliot was the NJCAA Player of the Week, threw a no hitter, was a top tier starter. Then we asked him to move to the back end for the playoffs. He ended two nationally ranked teams' seasons and threw some of the most clutch innings of the season.
This is a guy you want!
Strong look at So. RHP Eliot Roethle (@BobcatBSBWI).
