Listen, @Docusign really has the digital document signing and review market cornered. Because when I see something come in from a client from “ReviewMyDoc” or “SignMePlease” or some other brand I get mightily suspicious….

Don't let this weekend take you away from what's really important. More work. Push your family aside and spend more time creating shareholder value. On your deathbed, you'll never regret making your bosses boss more money!

Yall what the heck is this.
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again. Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard. It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min. Pre-orders are now live at: subvocal.co/preorder?utm_sou…

Rosie is not impressed with my new Google Swag. But to be fair she doesn’t know Google is - she’s much more impressed with treats and back scratches.

Microsoft Layoffs.... are kind of a best case scenario for some - and a nightmare for others. Microsoft is offering voluntary exit packages to about 60,000 employees. That’s roughly a 1/4th of the company. Best Case Scenario: You were going to retire soon, you needed a break, you were looking for another job already. So now you go forward with a bit of extra money in your pocket and you're living the dream. Nightmare Scenario: You wanted to stay and you now know you're expendable and Microsoft wants you gone. Do you take the money and job hunt in one of the toughest tech markets in years? Or stay and hope you’re still safe if fewer people take the deal than the company wants? Neither option feels great when you’ve got a mortgage and a family counting on you. We are truly living through interesting times!

I'm currently writing a new Blog on the Future of Data Analytics. This is what I get asked more than anything in recent years and it's hard to fully answer it in a short message. So I'm going to write it all out so I have a place to point to for this question. It will cover: 1. The top skills analysts need to stay ahead over the next 3–5 years 2. How the Analyst Role has changed and the Outlook in the next 5 years 3. What Directors of Analytics are looking for when hiring right now 4. How the modern data stack is changing I'm talking to Directors of Analytics, Senior Analysts, and taking my own experience into account. There's a lot changing so I'm trying to get all of my thoughts into one place! I'll post it on: blog.analystbuilder.com

I worked as an Analyst for about 6 years in corporate settings. I was either on an Analytics/Data Science team or I was the Manager of Analytics. For the past 4 years I've been doing Consulting for mostly small startups and large tech companies. For the vast majority of work, I much prefer Consulting! One of the best things is that the work is extremely varied. One day I'm working with the marketing team on product market fit for their product, next I'm helping a company migrate their data to Azure, and the next I'm creating videos for a companies onboarding process. I get to choose what I want to do and it keeps things very interesting! I do miss the people aspect of working in person in a corporate setting though. I liked having a group of people to chat with and work with. If you want a steady paycheck consulting is not ideal either - consulting fluctuates a lot month to month and that cannot be great for a lot of families that need a steady income for budgeting. If you have some experience under your belt and you like the idea of consulting, try taking on some projects on the side. Eventually it could cover your salary and you could do it full time!

There are days or even weeks when I’m very unproductive. I know you see my new course is coming out and my new YouTube stuff and my consulting business, and may think that I’m busy 24/7. I’m definitely quite busy, but I’m human like everyone else. The thing that I try to do is not be unproductive for long. If I have a lazy week that means the next week I need to really pick things up and focus even more.

How to cancel your AWS bill in 7 easy steps: 1. Log into your AWS Root Account 2. Continue to the AWS Cost Management 3. Attempt to Delete active resources but "dependencies" won't allow you to cancel them 4. Infiltrate your nearest data center disguised as an HVAC repairman 5. Spill a suspiciously large iced latte directly onto the server racks 6. Close your bank account, burn your passport, and assume a new identity in the Yukon 7. Dismantle global fiat currency and return humanity to the barter system Still didn't work. You will be charged $2.80 every month for the rest of your life.

This is actually insane
HERE IT IS. The Next Generation Roadster developed by SpaceX and Tesla! There is a fan-suction system at the bottom of the car that can pull up to 2 gs allowing it to stick upside down. It just flipped UPSIDE DOWN with cold gas thrusters and landed. HOLY SHIT.

Today we are taking a look at the new Dashboards feature within Claude! It's a tool used to create quick dashboards - in this video I do a quick demo and we see how it works. I also talk about the Pros/Cons and if it's a replacement for Power BI or Tableau. youtube.com/watch?v=fudxN6TR…

Right now I'm getting my hands on the new Claude Dashboard! I connected Claude to BigQuery and pulled in a dataset I had sitting in there. This is a dataset I used in a Power BI project (youtu.be/pixlHHe_lNQ) so I could try to replicate the dashboard and visuals. I just recorded this video and will get this live by tomorrow! Overall, quite impressed! Lots of room for improvement with the tool, but not bad for Beta! @claudeai
