So sad to hear of the death of Susan Wojcicki, aged only 56yrs 😒 Always had so much respect for Susan during my time at Google, and she was a shining example of a CEO who still had healthy work/life balance and balancing her family with work. Thoughts with her family πŸ’”
Unbelievably saddened by the loss of my dear friend @SusanWojcicki after two years of living with cancer. She is as core to the history of Google as anyone, and it’s hard to imagine the world without her. She was an incredible person, leader and friend who had a tremendous impact on the world and I’m one of countless Googlers who is better for knowing her. We will miss her dearly. Our thoughts with her family. RIP Susan.

You couldn't make it up! I was there in 2012 watching Ben, Scott and Peter win Gold in London Olympics, now regretting not going to Paris this week with both Eventing and Show Jumping golds!! πŸ₯‡πŸ₯‡ πŸ₯‡ What a week for our @TeamGB riders! Can we make it a triple in Dressage??
Legacy. 12 years on from winning gold in London with Peter Charles, Scott Brash & Ben Maher win gold in Paris with his son, Harry ✨ #Paris2024

Ten years since the tragic loss of the legend that was Robin Williams. Look after yourselves and each other. #MentalHealthMatters #CaptainMyCaptain
O Captain, My Captain 🧑 Happy birthday to Robin Williams, who would have turned 74 today πŸŽ‚ Voted 'Least Likely to Succeed' at school, Robin went on to become a teacher, a scientist, a nanny, a sailor and a genie (to name just a few) πŸ˜‰ Thank you for all the laughs Robin!

"A faulty update from cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike is responsible for the global outage." Wow. So many points of failure which shouldn't have happened, not just from CrowdStrike but also Microsoft such that one 3rd party software update could cause such chaos #GlobalIT

It seems that Farage is taking his MP responsibilities very seriously if out in the US acting like a Trump groupie rather than in UK parliament. Also last time I checked, there are just seven days in the week!
Channel 4 News’ Washington correspondent @siobhankennedy4 tracked down Nigel Farage and Liz Truss at the Republican Convention in Milwaukee.

So you think young children have no understanding of being a boy or a girl? Or treated differently because of it too, even at a young age? Or playing kiss chase in the playground ... They definitely have understanding of gender and sexuality even if not the words for it yet.

And some of them may have "two daddies" or "two mummies" which should be normalised, and for other kids to know that's ok. What's wrong with kids knowing that different types of relationships exist to just hetrosexual ?

The proposed ban on puberty blockers for young trans people is very concerning. Labour's manifesto promised to "remove indignities for trans people who deserve recognition & acceptance" -this entails ending the ban on puberty blockers. I will always stand with trans youth.

A reminder that England have won a major football trophy recently, just two years ago at Euros 2022. If you want a job done properly, ask a woman. Or in this case, a team of women βš½πŸ‘πŸ† @Lionesses #Lionesses #Euros #Football youtu.be/IJKcOBbwIOc?si=Oh2i…

There will be women tonight dreading their partner coming home. Football does not cause domestic abuse, but it can become more frequent or severe after big games, with reporting increasing by 38% when England lose. Go to womensaid.org.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.

Rates of domestic violence increase significantly after a loss in an England men's major football match. If you feel at risk tonight, or experiencing violence - help is available. Call 0808 2000 247 #EurosFinal #DomesticViolence #Football #EURO2024
We know the England team losing the #EURO2024 is the worst outcome for some, for others however it's the reality of waiting for their partner to come home. Football doesn't cause #DomesticAbuse, abusers do. Share our helpline so women know they are not alone πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΏ

So yeah, it’s #notallmen committing violent acts against women, it’s not even all men can be held CULPABLE for it, but is absolutely IS all men’s responsibility to address it, challenge it and do whatever we can to reduce and maybe one day eliminate it. As you were M

Cass review recommended caution, not exclusion, for any treatment and drew attention to shortcomings of previous GIDs service. To those asking will always be MP who listens to demand for better research & evidence base for help for those with gender dysphoria, not abandons them.
