I submitted 3 films, each over 3 minutes and the longest nearly 7, with serious effort put into the visuals, storytelling, and music. All 3 were shortlisted, none won, and your explanation included intentionally giving new creators more opportunities. If that was a judging factor, why wasn’t it clearly announced BEFORE we invested our time? I could’ve chosen not to participate. Meanwhile, a winning entry appears to use footage from a classic film, despite your rules requiring original content or the necessary permissions. Did you actually verify those permissions? And your response to my concerns was to offer complimentary credits? lol. Credits don’t explain the judging process. At this point, I’m asking: did you actually watch and evaluate every entry in full against consistent criteria, or how exactly were the winners picked? Creators deserve clear rules and actual answers.
