let’s talk about our 3 favorite nicknames we give to sylus and the meanings behind them. i wanna hear yours too, let’s adore him all together. rt so we can read eachothers🥹 1. the soul of my soul — this one is so precious to me. back in november 2024, i heard a Palestinian grandfather, Khaled, calling his little granddaughter this. both of them were martyred and their story affected me so deeply. so i started using it for sylus too. in a way i think i’m turning a painful memory into something full of love, while also reminding myself of Palestine every day. 2. my rib — in Turkish culture, there’s a belief that spouses were created from each other’s right rib. the meaning behind it is that without your right rib, even lying on your heart would hurt. and idk, calling sylus my rib feels so special to me. also it somehow fits his 200 affinity title “upon souls and bones” 🥹 3. my moon — THIS ONE IS SO AISYLUS CODED FOR ME. i’m the sun and he’s my moon. the moon shines with the light it receives from the sun, and when the stars disappear, the sun shows all its beauty only to the moon. he’s my moon and i’m his sun. it’s giving grumpy x sunshine in our own little way 😭♡ #sylus
