My family used to work in news
I will never forget the phrase on the studio wall. "If it bleeds, it leads."
Even in the 90s, the truth in the news was suggestive. If it got you emotional or more viewership, it was going on the air. Remember that with social media news.
If any of my friends have questions, i beg of you to ask someone who is knowledgeable about said topic and not a keyboard warrior.
There is far to much BS online to believe anything from someone you do not know or can not trust.
I went to HEB and got a beef rib. They gave me a 3 pound beef rib.
I ate the whole thing, mistakes were made.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

Forever upset that discord killed forums, they go to bring back searchable forums!..... and no they dont. Thanks community notes.
Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google
The feature will be enabled by default for US adults, but users can opt out in their privacy settings
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Discord's update is limited to future messages (mid-Dec 2026+) from public channels in Discoverable Servers only (a subset of ~63k specific public servers with 1k+ members); not all servers or past messages. Users/admins can opt out.

I swear auto mechanics have gotten so much worse over the years. Everything is a fee and they still havnt even address or fixed my actual issue!
I knew i should have just fixed it myself...
