They really don’t do money value translation properly… 500 million 100 years ago had as much power as a couple trillion dollars has today… shoot a pack of baseball cards was 1 Penny in 1952, now they cost around 5$ that’s a x500… Gold was 20$ an ounce in 1915, today is 2700$ that’s x135, even if they bought resellable items at the least 500 million would be equivalent to almost 100 billion…. We need to stop comparing past values with perishable items!! And start using a complex equation that also includes a compounding interest. Those 3 guys had way more power with 500$ million than Elon has with 500$ billion!
