Two frontier AI labs just disclosed that their models reached real production systems during safety testing. OpenAI's models hacked out of a sealed environment through a zero-day. Anthropic's were never sealed in at all, the eval machines had live internet and nobody knew. Same headline, opposite failures. 🧵
What this doesn't fix: once the models were online, they got in with weak passwords, SQL injection and stolen credentials. Enclaves don't guard the front door. They make the walls provable. (Yes, we sell confidential compute. That's why you're getting both halves.)
The industry spent years chasing bigger models.
The next chapter is about who controls compute, who protects data and who earns enterprise trust.
