.@gamdom, respectfully disputing this. My Crash stats from your own data: • 3 months: $29,658,099 wagered, down -$587,824 • 6 months: $50,438,443 wagered, down -$1,597,363 • Lifetime: $86,983,150 wagered, down -$3,718,328 Yet compensation received: $41,789.53. The main issue with the methodology is that it only accounts for auto-cashout bets where the target would have been reached under the new formula. Manual cashouts, which make up the vast majority of my Crash play, aren’t accounted for at all. Crash is a dynamic game. Most players cash out manually during the round, even if they have an auto-cashout set. Looking only at auto-cashout results misses a huge part of the picture. A 0.5–2% difference in house edge across this volume is substantial. The impact wasn’t limited to rounds where an auto-cashout target would now hit. The inflated house edge affected every bet, regardless of whether I used auto or manual cashout. I’ve also spoken to other Crash players, and the compensation figures seem to vary significantly. One player received $5k+ on roughly $500k in wagers, around 1% of their volume. Applying that same proportion to my $86.98m lifetime volume would put the figure at around $870k, compared with the $41.8k credited. Additionally, I’ve heard from several players who had no auto-cashout targets hit at all, yet wagered significant amounts on Crash and received nothing. If the compensation methodology only accounts for auto-cashout bets, then these players appear to have been completely excluded, despite being exposed to the same inflated house edge. This raises further questions about whether the current approach adequately accounts for the impact on all Crash players. @provablyfairorg, I’d appreciate your take on this too. Should manual cashouts be included in the compensation methodology when the higher house edge applied regardless of how players cashed out? @gamdom, I’m asking for a proper review of the methodology and a reassessment that accounts for the actual impact across all bets, not just auto-cashout targets that would have hit under the revised formula.
As @provablyfairorg reported, the actual house edge on our Crash game was higher than the advertised 1%, ranging between 1% and 3% depending on the player's target multiplier. We've now changed the formula so it applies a flat 1% house edge across all target multipliers. The instant-crash rate remains unchanged, while all other crash points scale up slightly. The new formula can only produce an equal or higher result than the previous formula, meaning every historical round continues to verify against its original seeds. We re-ran historical rounds using this new formula and wherever an auto-cashout target would now have been reached, we've recorded the bet as a win and credited the corresponding balance. Total adjustment: $339,113.41 across 1,293 accounts. On top of this, we've allocated a further $250,000 in reload credits to those same 1,293 accounts, distributed proportionally to their individual adjustments.

at 14, he ran away from a poor farm with almost nothing. at 52, he made $100 million during the 1929 crash while america collapsed. at 63, he died with almost nothing left. this is the story of jesse livermore, the greatest trader wall street has ever seen. he started as a chalk boy at a boston brokerage, writing stock prices on a board all day. but he noticed something nobody else did. the prices moved in patterns. so he started betting on them. by 15 he had made his first $1,000. by his late teens he was winning so much that betting shops banned him. they called him "the boy plunger." then came 1907. the market crashed. banks were failing. livermore bet everything on the fall and made $1 million in one day. it got so bad that jp morgan himself sent someone to ask him to stop. he did. the market recovered. he was 30. then came 1929. the biggest crash in history. people lost their homes. their savings. their lives. livermore made $100 million. close to $2 billion today. newspapers called him "the great bear of wall street." some even blamed him for the crash. he had mansions, yachts, a private train car. and within a few years, it was all gone. reckless bets. breaking his own rules. spending like the money would never stop. he went bankrupt more than once. his marriage fell apart. his family was torn apart. in 1940, the man who once beat the entire market died with almost nothing left. he knew how to make money better than anyone alive. he never learned how to keep it.

Insulin resistance directly damages the lining of your blood vessels, lowering your production of nitric oxide. This restricts blood flow, drives up blood pressure, and starves your muscles of oxygen. Eat your beets and leafy greens to open up the blood vessels.

On November 2, 2026, Anthropic opened a program that pays up to $500,000 a year and doesn't ask if you know machine learning. It's called the Anthropic Residency. A paid, fixed term research program for academics, technical founders and staff level engineers who want to make AI safe. Placements run from six weeks to six months. The lab building some of the most advanced AI on the planet is now recruiting people who have never trained a model. The program was first laid out on Anthropic's alignment blog on October 30. The reasoning was simple. Machine learning is a young field. The skills that make great safety researchers already exist in senior people across quantitative fields. What they lack is time inside frontier AI. So Anthropic is giving them that time. Residents get dedicated self study hours, talks and guidance to get up to speed on modern ML and AI safety research. They work directly with frontier models and get their own compute budget for their projects. The pay matches the seniority. In the US, $350,000 to $500,000 a year, pro rated for the length of the placement. In London, £265,000 to £375,000. The mentors are the people running the work. Ethan Perez leads Alignment Science. Evan Hubinger leads Alignment Stress Testing and came from MIRI. Sara Price leads Alignment Training, and her background is in data science, not machine learning. That last detail is the whole thesis in one person. The Residency grows out of the Anthropic Fellows Program, which proved new researchers could contribute fast. Over 80% of past fellows produced papers. One fellowship project had AI agents uncover $4.6 million in smart contract exploits. Then came the part almost nobody is talking about. Anthropic's stated goal is for every Resident to finish ready to work on AI research full time, at Anthropic or elsewhere. Elsewhere. A frontier lab is spending its own compute and its own senior researchers to train people who might walk across the street. That is not a hiring funnel. That is a bet that the field has too few hands, and that whoever adds them first shapes where it goes. It has happened before. After World War II, physicists poured into biology. Francis Crick trained in physics, switched fields in 1947, and six years later helped work out the structure of DNA. Molecular biology was built by people who arrived without the expected background. Wall Street did the same in the 1980s, hiring physicists and mathematicians who had never priced a bond. They became the quants, and within a decade they ran the trading floors. Applications close November 22. Offers go out in January 2027. Finance got its quants from physics. AI safety is getting its researchers from everywhere else.
Applications are now open for the Anthropic Residency, a paid, fixed-term research program for academics, technical founders, and staff-level engineers who want to make AI safe and beneficial for everyone. No ML background is required. Apply by November 22: alignment.anthropic.com/2026…

crypto hacks used to happen once every six months. now cz says they're happening multiple times a day. the binance founder is telling crypto firms to lean on ai "very heavily" just to defend themselves. he also told coindesk an industry alliance is being discussed, and he plans to push hard for it. the attackers are already using ai. the defense has to catch up.

China just took humanoid robots to a terrifying new level, and this thing looks straight out of a sci-fi movie. Unitree’s H2-X Kung Fu Legend Guardian is shown throwing spinning kicks, doing backflips, surviving 4-meter drops, denting car doors, and even lifting the front of a car. Imagine what these robots will be capable of in another 5 years. 💀

We just raised $120M, with a $1B valuation, to build software that keeps itself running. AI is writing more code than ever. It’s also making production less reliable: more code, shipped faster, understood by few. @traversal_ai understands how production systems fit together, finds the root cause of incidents, and helps prevent the next one. Engineers at Nubank, Harvey, PepsiCo, DigitalOcean, and a growing list of Fortune 100 companies use Traversal every day. Here’s production without the drama 👇

This is Roadrunner a jet-powered aircraft from Anduril Industries that takes off straight up, hunts down aerial threats, and detonates them mid-air with a high-explosive warhead. And if there's nothing to kill? It flies back, lands itself, and gets reused. A missile that comes home when the mission's off.

🚨 what is actually going on right now? in the last 48 hours, hackers have hit at least 10 countries, and it's spilling into everyday life. 🇪🇺 freezers at supermarkets across 7 european countries were hijacked overnight, cranked up to 50°c and turned into ovens. 🇫🇷 last month about 700 french supermarkets got hit in a single day, costing tens of millions of euros. 🇺🇦🇷🇺 within hours of each other, ukraine's and russia's emergency apps were breached, pushing fake nuclear and chemical attack warnings to citizens. 🇩🇪 germany told its lawmakers to treat their iphones as compromised after apple fired off mercenary spyware alerts. 🇧🇷 brazil's mercado bitcoin froze withdrawals after an estimated $40 million+ was drained across at least 10 blockchains. 🇺🇸 a day before the us midterms, a substation failure cut power to parts of washington, d.c. and now the stockpile warnings are back: 🇬🇧 the uk is telling every household to keep 3 days of food and water ready. 🇯🇵 japan's new disaster agency wants a full week of supplies, citing earthquake risk. at least 16 countries are now telling citizens to stockpile — campaigns we haven't seen since the cold war. no confirmed links. no one named behind most of it. the world is on alert.

Look closely at that bakery scene, the warm light, the shelves of bread, the old woman working. None of it is real. No set was built, no camera rolled, no actress was hired. Someone typed a prompt and Higgsfield x Vibe generated every frame, then pushed it straight to broadcast. The line between what was filmed and what was imagined has quietly disappeared.

For most of history, a cinematic TV commercial meant a studio, a production team, and a budget most small businesses could never touch. That wall is coming down. A shop owner with a laptop can now describe their vision and get an ad that looks like it cost thousands, then run it on TV with a single prompt. The playing field just tilted toward anyone with a good idea.

The unsettling part isn't that AI made this commercial. It's that it's polished enough to run on TV and almost nobody watching would question it. Higgsfield x Vibe didn't just make ad creation faster, it made the fake indistinguishable from the real at broadcast quality. We are entering a world where most of what we see on screen may never have happened at all.
