Hello. My name’s Stacie.
One morning, I woke up and I was dead.
Well, I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My hair was red. Beautiful. My skin was a little green, and my eyes were golden.
Isn’t that a beautiful combination of colours?
The doctors were puzzled.
“You should be dead.”
I said, “Well… is that any reason not to be nice?”
They wanted to keep me in for further tests. But you know, I said, “I haven’t got time. I have to get to work.”
Besides, I didn’t want to cause any more trouble.
The new hair colour isn’t that bad, is it?
And yes… my complexion could have used a little freshening up.
And so now I’m finding my way.
They said I’m a zombie? I don’t see it that way.
I still love my spaghetti, my pizza. I meet up with my sister. Strangely enough, she’s been through this transformation too.
It doesn’t bother us. We’ll manage.
Now I just need to figure out how to get on with my life.
