Imagine being able to relate to and enjoy books about aliens, but not Black women. 🙄 But props to her friend for “I wanna argue.” 😂

Awon “I don’t read books by Nigerian authors” See 👇🏾 They can’t even relate to you as a human. Yet as a Nigerian, you do a video saying “Nigerian authors need to do better” “I can’t relate to Nigerian romance” Blah blah Guess what? They can’t relate to you either. Self hate 🥴

The painful thing is that while this happening, a number of black people who read put down books written by black authors too. This doesn’t surprise me. But you know what does? Seeing a black reader who doesn’t read or recommend books written by black people about black people.

Girls are always the sacrifice to teach boys humanity. Their bodies, their hearts, their minds, all are acceptable sacrifices if a boy "learns".
i don't care what some of y'all's qualifications are but a 6 year old girl nearly DIED and you still have the nerve to be understanding toward that 8 year old motherfucker. all this bullshit about "yeah but he's still a child" do you... even grasp the gravity of what happened

We live in a country where we have to be grateful that "atleast the victim is alive" but nobody is willing to question why there is a girl who is a victim of violence at the hands of her male counterparts in the first place.

the thing is- those who are defending that 8-yo boy, let me ask you a question. if he's big enough to commit that crime, then he's also big enough to face the consequences? nothing can and will ever justify the horrendous act he has committed.

It's women like you who are responsible for these crimes by being lenient on male perpetrators. This boy IS a monster to every female child. He deserves death or to be locked away for the remainder of his miserable life.

Misogyny so deeply rooted in an 8 year old boy? Nah! He needs to be punished! Empathy should ALWAYS BE FOR VICTIMS!

That 8 year old boy need to be jailed. The crime is too violent for him not to be punished. There has to be consequences for actions. That’s the only way kids learn. He can be in juvenile detention until he turns 18!

Has anyone noticed that horror gore violent stories like this are always perpetuated by the Male children?
🚨 An eight-year-old boy held a father's hand and offered to help him find his missing KG daughter. He calmly told the father that he knew exactly where she was. But what the CCTV footage later revealed was absolutely horrifying. 😱😱👇 In a school in Haryana, as usual, the school day was over and parents had started arriving to pick up their children. A father came to pick up his little daughter, who was studying in KG. Just imagine how young that child must be. But when he reached the usual spot where his daughter would be waiting, she was nowhere to be seen. He immediately approached the class teacher and asked about her. The teacher casually told him, "She must have gone to the toilet. Check there, or look inside the classroom, or somewhere around the school." So the father started searching everywhere. He checked the girls' washroom, the playground and the canteen. While he was desperately searching, an eight-year-old boy approached him, held his hand and said, "Uncle, you are looking for your daughter, right? She is in KG, isn't she? I know where she is. A group of boys beat her up. I saw it." The boy then took him straight to a classroom. But the classroom was locked. The father was confused. He asked, "How can my daughter be inside when the classroom is locked?" The little boy told him, "Uncle, look through the window. You can see your daughter inside." And what he saw was horrifying. His little girl was lying in a pool of bl.... The terrified father raised an alarm and called for help. The school staff eventually opened the locked classroom. The child was unconscious. Her face was so badly swollen that it was difficult to recognise her. There were bricks and flower pots lying nearby. It appeared that these objects had been used to attack her, repeatedly hitting her in the face and head. Her eyes and the surrounding areas were badly swollen. The little girl is now in a very critical condition and has still not regained consciousness. But what happened next is even more shocking.😱 When the school authorities checked the CCTV footage to find out who had done this, they discovered something unbelievable. The very same eight-year-old boy who had approached the father, held his hand and claimed that he knew where the girl was, was actually the one who had attacked her!😱 Even more disturbing is that the boy reportedly continued attacking her even after she had lost consciousness. Why would an eight-year-old child do something so violent? What made him behave this way? Nobody seems to have an answer yet. And what about the school management?🥺 How can a classroom be locked without even checking whether a child is still inside? How could nobody notice that this little girl was missing? This entire incident is deeply shocking.🥺 Think about that eight-year-old boy. He behaved as though nothing had happened. He calmly approached the father, pretended to help him find his daughter and even led him to the very classroom where he had left her. At just eight years of age, how can a child display such extreme violence and lie so naturally? This also raises serious questions about the environment in which he is growing up. His family environment, the influences around him and his psychological well-being need careful examination. Is he growing up in a healthy environment? What kind of influences is he exposed to? An incident like this cannot simply be ignored. There are serious questions that need answers.

How exactly does she look fine? She's merely alive. The internal injuries will show their effects eventually. The physical and psychological trauma could scar her for life. Both her physical and mental health have been severely damaged.
The kid is fine. 🥺

Punishment should be based on the crime not the age of the criminal. Being young shouldn't be an excuse to escape accountability. Justice should be for the victims not an excuse for the criminals

I’ve finally got down to my pre pregnancy weight. It took me 6 years! Six whole years. Ladies don’t let anyone tell you childbirth is not tasking on women.

I pray that in the future, Nigerians both home and away would be able to vote electronically and confidently, knowing that their vote will count. 🙏 The amount of people who have told me they won’t waste their time voting is concerning 💔

Good question! A lot of romantic gestures that are swoon worthy require some funds. The characters don’t have to be billionaires but being poor… Hmmm 🤔 I don’t know sha. They both have to at least be employed, or have enough to take care of themselves first 🤷🏾‍♀️
What do you think of the representation of poor people in romance books?
