Dawn Staley is an absolute class act. After finishing a perfect season, she has enough class and humility to personally thank Caitlin Clark from her award stage:
“I want to personally thank
Caitlin Clark for lifting up our sport, she carried a heavy load for our sport.”

The manuscript critique opening in May has been claimed but I'll still do some $20 query critiques for the rest of the day if anyone else wants one. Next opening for a full MS critique is now the end of June. Thanks to everyone who shared the thing!

JUST NOW: Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias SILENCES Lindsey Graham during a hearing on Republican book banning:
He says it PERFECTLY. 👇
“Don’t let one parent who disagrees with a certain world view determine whether a book should be in a library.
That goes against the very point of our Democracy, (it hinders) the means to educate our youth, and to allow them to think for themselves.”
Illinois is the first state to enact a law that requires state libraries uphold a pledge not to ban material because of partisan disapproval.
Smash that heart if you agree books should be READ and not BANNED! 💙
Hey @MrBeast ! Logan—big fan from Illinois—cleaned up a Walmart display tonight. 👍🏻

If HAMILTON taught us anything, it’s that this should be settled with a rap battle.
My sweet girl passed on today after 14 years of unconditional love. She’s been along for every small and large event of my adult life. Things won’t be the same without her. 💔

A mere 7️⃣ Mondays remain in the most difficult school year ever. I can do this. Probably.
I think.
Maybe.
On this, the first day of #AutismAcceptanceMonth, I think of all the kids I’ve worked with who—every single year—turn out to be my favorites.
They’ve taught me so damn much.
