We voted! ๐ณ๏ธ
I didnโt know weekend voting was a thing until my son suggested we go on Saturday. Storms are expected Tuesday, so we voted early to avoid the rain on Election Day. We were in and out in 15 minutes or less.
If youโve already voted, how long was your line?

Come peep the fall foliage in Arkansas this weekend: instagram.com/reel/DfLlBP0uiโฆ

As dry as itโs been, I think this may have been the peak weekend to see the fall foliage in Arkansas. With storms forecast for Tuesday, I was afraid the winds and heavy rain would knock the brittle leaves to the ground.
The rain will be an answer to prayers of many as weโve been in a severe drought.
BTW, what did you think of the song selection for the video? ๐คญ๐ช๐ช๐ต

Early voting is underway, and our local library is serving as a polling place.
As we drove through the parking lot, my daughter spotted a campaign sign for a candidate.
She said, "Don't vote for [Name]. He's so rude when he comes through our line at work."
"For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." Luke 6:45 (ESV)
Our everyday interactions reveal our true character.
Unfortunately for this candidate, the impression he left on my daughter wasn't a favorable one. And she'll be voting for the first time in this election.
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be the voice behind some of your favorite childhood characters?
Hollywood voice actress @KatieLeighVO, best known as Connie Kendall in Adventures in Odyssey, has voiced beloved characters in My Little Pony, Muppet Babies, Darkwing Duck, and Adventures of the Gummi Bears.
Now she's sharing her story in Anonymously Famous: A Truthful Book About Fictional Stuff, co-written with @PeggySueWells!
From being told her voice was annoying to building a career in Hollywood, Katie's memoir takes readers behind the microphone and into the life of a woman whose voice has entertained generations.
We're recruiting readers for the Anonymously Famous Influencer Team!
The book releases November 17, and we'd love your help spreading the word!
Applications close tomorrow, November 1, so don't miss your opportunity to join the team.

I pulled out my My Little Pony collection in honor of a new project Iโm working on. More details to come!
In the meantime, what childhood toys have you held on to over the years?
In my nine years as an author assistant, I've helped launch a lot of books, but never a memoir. Until now!
My client PeggySue Wells co-wrote Anonymously Famous with Hollywood voice actress Katie Leigh.
You might not recognize Katie's name, but you've probably heard her voice! She's Connie Kendall in Adventures in Odyssey, Baby Rowlf in Muppet Babies, Sunni Gummi in Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Honker Muddlefoot in Darkwing Duck, and Fizzy and several other ponies in My Little Pony.
When PeggySue told me about the project, I pulled my pony collection out of storage to show her. Katie Leigh was the voice of my childhood!
Anonymously Famous: A Truthful Book About Fictional Stuff takes readers behind the microphone and into Katie's life, sharing stories from her voice-acting career and the unexpected turns along the way.
I'm coordinating the book's launch team, and we're looking for readers to join the Anonymously Famous Influencer Team before the book releases on November 17!
If you'd like to help us spread the word about Katie's memoir, I'd love for you to apply!

In 1942, American historian Lydia Burgess works with a relief agency escorting Jewish children to Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, a remote French village that has become a refuge for the oppressed. In Le Chambon, Dr. Christophe de La Croix will do anything to protect the innocent in his care. When Lydia faces internment as an American citizen, Christophe offers to marry her so she can continue to aid the children. But as danger threatens their haven, Christophe and Lydia must guard both those under their protectionโand their own hearts.
