Hello rescue community.👋 We don't rescue out of Houston. Please share this. Praying a rescue will see it and save him. This is horrible. Sending a pup back to be killed because of the breed or lack of the breed 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

A police K9 got shot this morning when deputies went in after an armed woman who'd held them off all night.
Penryn, California. Deputies say she pointed a gun out a window at a detective Thursday night and threatened to shoot him, then barricaded herself inside.
They tried negotiators, phones, tear gas, drones. She wrecked the drones.
Just after 7 the team went in. Deputies say she opened fire, and K9 Sonic took a round in the leg. She got hit when they fired back. No deputies hurt.
Sonic's expected to make it. Get well, buddy.
Placer County, she shot a police dog doing his job. Charge it like it matters.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Snickers has absolutely no idea how to act normal. 😂
Snickers #NCR8757 has grown up right before our eyes, from a 3-month-old puppy to an 8-month-old, 56-lb goofball. 😂
Exhibit A: the flop.
Exhibit B: the BIIIIIG stretch.
Exhibit C: the dramatic sit-and-stare directly into the camera like he has something very important to say. 👀
This cattle dog mix is EXTREMELY silly, incredibly smart, and has a personality that is impossible not to love. He’s also strong, energetic and a herding breed, so Snickers is looking for someone with previous dog experience who can give him the structure, consistency and patience he needs to keep growing into the very best version of himself. ❤️
He gets along with other pups, but a meet and greet is required to ensure a perfect match. Snickers is looking for a home with children 12+ who can respect his boundaries and keep up with his playful energy!
Basically, Snickers is ready to trade his shelter bed for a forever couch… and he promises to bring the comedy. 🐾😂
Come meet this big, silly boy!
