I never know exactly what to say on this day. The sadness, anger and unwavering patriotism are all still there, 25 years later. I think about all of the innocent lives taken. I think about the innumerable heroes that fearlessly answered the call that day. I think about the people on Flight 93 and how they sacrificed their own lives to save others. I think about how badly I wanted us to hunt down and kill every single person responsible - how I still want that entire region to be a glass fucking parking lot. I think about how it felt to walk around numb and afraid in the days and weeks that followed. I’ll never forgive. And I will never forget. 🙏🏻🇺🇸
