The difference between talent and skills is hardwork. Dedicate yourself to practicing your skills and improving them because hardwork beats talent when talent refuses to work hard.

Happy Birthday, Counsel Silver! Ssebo, you’re wiser, more experienced and more mature than your age suggests! 😂
I make 36 years today. Grateful to everyone who has played a part. I've lived a good life, mostly resisiting the urge to be "normal". Normal is too crowded From a hyper-active kid whose mum needed two nannies to a curious observer & life-long learner, still glad to be here🎂🎈🎁

This is serious. I watched the session yesterday and one thing is clear: people have suffered for a long time and are tired. Many now see Hon.Balaam as their “saviour.” However, it is concerning that most of the interdicted officers were not present to defend themselves. I hope they will be given an opportunity to be heard before any conclusions are drawn.
29 District Government officials/ Workers including District Engineer, CAO, DEO, etc of Kisoro District were Arrested and Interdicted from offices for Abuse of Office and CORRUPTION. Minister for Local Government Hon. Balaam Barugahara ordered. No more POLITENESS to CORRUPTION. Kisanja NO more CORRUPTION.

NWSC Deputy MD Inspects Package 2B Works as More Areas Set to Benefit Kira-Nsasa-Namugongo National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services, Eng. Johnson Amayo, has inspected ongoing works under the Rehabilitation, Restructuring, Rezoning and Extension of the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area (GKMA) Water Supply Network Project (Package 2B). During his visit to project sites in the Kira–Namugongo–Nsasa corridor, Eng. Amayo tasked the contractor to ensure that all workspaces are properly reinstated to their original state once construction is complete. The project’s main objective is to extend and improve the distribution pipeline network in Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono and Buikwe districts so that water supply coverage can meet demand through the year 2040. It specifically bridges the gap between the high production capacity of the Katosi Water Treatment Plant (160 million litres per day) and rising demand in North and West Kampala and surrounding areas. Although Katosi currently operates at approximately 52 percent of capacity because of historical distribution bottlenecks, Package 2B is designed to eliminate those constraints and deliver more reliable water to rapidly growing neighbourhoods. Upon completion, the project is expected to improve water supply to the following areas: Wakiso Bugembegembe, Kayunga, Wakiso Town, Kasengeje, Gombe, Mende, Nkoowe, Kasa Ngombe, Sala, Sanda Kavumba, Mpunga, Wakiso Town Council, Namasanga, Buyera, Muyomba, Kikokiro, Kapeke, Kiwazi, Kisimbiri, Kabowa, Najjemba, Nakasuga, Namusera, Kyoga, Banda. Full completion is scheduled for 2027, with some sections expected to begin delivering improved supply late this year. @NWSCMD

Today an international Airport is named after him
For five straight years, one Ugandan king held off the British Empire with a fraction of its weapons, and Uganda spent most of the 20th century pretending it hadn't happened. Kabalega became Omukama of Bunyoro in 1870 at 16 and spent his reign rebuilding it into one of the dominant kingdoms in the Great Lakes region, built on trade through the Kibiro saltworks and territory that expanded as far as Toro, Nkole, and Rwanda. When Britain declared war on Bunyoro in 1894, Kabalega refused to simply surrender his kingdom the way neighboring rulers had. He retreated and ran a guerrilla resistance for five years, forcing Britain to lean on Buganda and Sudanese mercenaries just to keep up the fight. He was finally wounded, captured in an ambush in 1899, and exiled first to Kismayo, then to the Seychelles, where he spent the next 24 years. He never stopped resisting from exile either, writing letters and petitions against colonial rule the entire time. In 1923, Britain finally allowed him to return home. He died in Jinja before he made it back across the border. For decades afterward, Uganda built no monuments to him, named no roads after him. He was only formally declared a national hero in 2009, 86 years after he died trying to get home to the kingdom he never stopped fighting for.

"Every human being has an instinct for greatness, a hunger for the heroic and a psychic need to rise toward the heavens of their finest capability, whether we remember this consciously or not. A lot of us have been minimized and pushed down so much by the dark and toxic influences around us we’ve forgotten all we truly are. We’ve become masters of compromise, slowly and steadily allowing in more aspects of mediocrity until a point arrives where it’s our standard operating system." - Excerpt from Robin Sharma's book-The 5am Club.

On December 16, 2018, after procrastinating for years, I finally went gorilla trekking in Mgahinga National Park. Among the trekkers was American actress Zoey Deutch The excitement when we finally found the Nyakagezi family on the slopes of Mt. Muhabura is difficult to put into words. It remains one of those unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. @LabanNgaboAFC @TourismBoardUg @ugwildlife Happy World Gorilla Day! 🦍🌿#WorldGorillaDay #ConserveGorillas #VisitUganda #VisitKisoro
