Interested in starting a career in EMS? SSTs is the 1st step on your career path! The SST position is an entry-level position, designed for those who want to go on to be an EMT and eventually a Paramedic.

SSTs are eligible to be sponsored to an EMT training program with American Ambulance. Upon completion of the training and National Registry testing, we then transfer you to our Operations department as an EMT, where you will start working on an ambulance.
