“When FP8?” comes up in most pearl-2:native threads. Where it stands on Oct 28: The FP8 upgrade (certificate V4, a hard fork) sits in pull request #311, open since Sep 9, with no mainnet block height in the code. On Sep 25 @prlnet CEO said it was on testnet and expected to launch “within weeks”. Work on its proof system is still in progress, with prover commits as recent as Oct 25. The signal to watch is a fork height for mainnet.

$ALGO has 53x more validators, while $HBAR logs 20x more transactions. Over 30 days, #ALGO's transaction fees averaged 4.6x less than #HBAR's. I favor ALGO's 53x validator lead for decentralization over raw volume. Fees or volume, which matters more?

USDC pushes Algorand’s stablecoin supply back over $100M Stablecoins on @Algorand (algorand:native) now total $100.4M, their highest level since July 2025, after a 6.8% climb over the past week. @circle's dollar token accounts for 98.6% of that. Tokenized real-world assets on the chain add about $57M. Over the past day, 33,229 addresses were active on Algorand, per DefiLlama data.

🚨 NVIDIA RTX 5090 situation is getting ODD... According to Hardwareluxx: • NVIDIA reportedly stopped accepting new RTX 5090 GPU + memory bundle orders • Backorders are reportedly no longer being accepted • A cooler supplier is also seeing RTX 5090 demand drop And yet NVIDIA recently said the RTX 5090 is NOT discontinued. So partners reportedly can’t order more chips… Retail stock is disappearing… But the card is supposedly still alive? Yeah, something is definitely going on here. 👀

Algorand is become a dominant force in the stablecoin game. Major networks like @SuiNetwork, @StellarOrg and @Ripple's $XRP Ledger have all see serious reductions in their stablecoin supplies over the past week. The same is not true for @AlgoFoundation's @Algorand, however, which has seen a +10% increase over the period. algorand:native's stablecoin supply now stands at $99.5M.
