What are you avoiding? For today - for this moment - just name it. I'm not asking you to do anything about it or with it. Just label it. Now breathe. Healing and growing are incremental experiences. You can take the next step gently when you are ready. You can.

Some days feel harder than others. 💜 If today is one of those days, give yourself grace and take things one moment at a time. Make room for rest when you need it, and remember that it's okay to lean on others when things feel overwhelming. Taking care of yourself and your mental health matters, too.

Many adults in America stress the most about: • Financial Stability and Debt • Work-Life Balance • Physical and Mental Health • Life Meaning and Identity Sometimes, naming what’s weighing on us is the first step toward addressing it. #EmotionalIntelligence

New research suggests that building positive emotional experiences may complement traditional approaches to depression and anxiety. It’s a reminder that mental health is not only about reducing distress, but also about strengthening well-being. medscape.com/viewarticle/tar…

Not every opportunity that looks good on paper is necessarily right for you. When you're facing a big decision, whether it's about your career, relationships, or the direction of your life, pay attention to three feelings: excitement, fear, and deadness. Here's what I recommend looking for: 80% excitement 20% fear 0% deadness, or as close to it as possible. Fear isn't necessarily a reason to say no. Some of the best decisions you'll make will come with a little fear. But that feeling of deadness, even when everything seems right on paper, is something you shouldn't ignore.

You can be authentic and hardworking and still struggle to find your footing if you’re in the wrong environment. -A fun person trapped in the wrong city. -A loving partner in a relationship that won’t reciprocate. -A great entrepreneur stuck in the wrong business. Think about your placement as much as your performance. Plant yourself where you can thrive.

There is a particular kind of discomfort that comes with being in the middle of a change. You may have outgrown a role, a relationship, a way of thinking, or a version of yourself that once made sense. Welcome to the messy middle. anatsamid.com/blog-mentalhea…

Today is a good opportunity to check in with yourself. Not to criticize what needs changing, but to notice what’s working, what feels out of alignment, and what deserves more of your attention. #Mindfulness #EmotionalIntelligence #PersonalGrowth #MentalWellbeing

The way we speak to ourselves and others matters. A little more curiosity, a little less judgment, & a willingness to understand before reacting can change the tone of an entire interaction. Emotional intelligence begins with awareness - and the choice to respond with intention.

On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we recognize that culturally competent care is critical. 🌿 Meaningful mental health care begins with cultural humility, listening, and respect for each person’s history, identity, and lived experience. #MentalHealth
