It is very dangerous to criminalize a parent for pushing back on a child's claims.
“We need to allow parents to say, no I'm sorry you're a girl, or even maybe, I’m sorry I don't think you're gay.” Kathleen Stock says parents should be free to question their child’s identity without fear of prosecution.

Wokeness expands like a gas to fill the entire volume of whatever void it has access to. If it's not actively opposed, it will expand. Democrats winning, even if they don't run on wokeness, is a de facto endorsement of woke because no Democrat is going to stand up to it.

“If my husband takes my phone away from me because he doesn’t want me contacting people, that’s coercive control. If I do that to my child, that maybe responsible parenting” Well said @HJoyceGender! #BinTheBill

The correction on pronouns is fine, ofc, but I wish there had been a correction on the 'more research' question from Keilar. The female category is a sex category, not a performance category. Any treatment - call it 'GAC' or whatever - that reduces performance is irrelevant: It doesn't change sex. ...
NEW: California attorney Julie Hamill corrects CNN's Brianna Keilar after she tried calling biological male track athlete AB Hernandez a girl. Keilar was very confused during the interview & struggled to keep up. Keilar: What would make this fair for her to compete? Hamill: Who is her? Keilar: AB. Hamill: Okay. AB Hernandez is a male who identifies as a female. What would be fair is to have Hernandez competing in the male category. @hamill_law sounds like she's talking to someone in middle school.

This kind of thing helps drives now former leftists to the right. It's not random "bigotry" but the refusal to keep personal politics out of the classroom and the ever present message to girls that they exist to affirm boys' feelings.
Why yes, of course, 4th graders in Washington state are being brainwashed by a trans-identified woman into fearing the exclusion of boys from girls' sports as a threat to themselves. That's just the baseline.

If you think that misogyny isn’t a thing in today’s society, let me point out that there were a million people who blamed “female incompetence” for a plane crash in Florida today, but not a single person blamed “male recklessness,” even though the pilot in question was a man.

It has always been a bucket-list item to debate against a steelmanning Peter Boghossian. Watch our full conversation in the link below the video!
Pro-trans activists will not converse with me, so I attempted to make their arguments better than they could and interrogated therapist, conservative councillor, and founder of Just Therapy @JamesEsses. In Collaboration with @HeterodoxCentre

As a gay man, I'll say what a lot of us are thinking. We fought to be left alone. To marry the man we love, keep our jobs, and live a quiet life. We won. Then woke activists took our letters, stapled on a dozen causes we never signed up for, and started calling us bigots for saying sex is real. That isn't our movement anymore.

I insisted I wanted to be a boy at three. Instead of going with it, my mom asked why. I said, “Girls are stupid and like stupid things.” My mom patiently, completely unpacked that for me like a parent should, thank god, and I became a proud tomboy from then on!
“I’ll never forget the moment my child asked me, “Why did you make me a boy in your belly when I was supposed to be a girl?” She was two and a half.” Two and a half-when most are potty training and use 2-3 word phrases, not complex questions such as “Why did you?” Heartbreaking claim.

They know the screening method isn't a genital exam, so to avoid overtly lying while still attempting to conjure such imagery in an ignorant voter's mind, they call it an "invasive gender check exam." In reality it's just a cheek swab. It's less invasive than a COVID test.
The trans sports ban would require ALL girls participating in sports to get an invasive gender check exam. This is a ballot measure in Washington state.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Washington measure requires a provider's signed statement verifying biological sex (via reproductive anatomy, genetics or testosterone levels) as part of routine sports physicals for female-designated sports. It does not mandate invasive exams. sos.wa.gov/sites/default/… ballotpedia.org/Washington_Ini…

The media is beyond parody. A simple cheek swab would determine sex.
Five states have initiatives on the ballot to outlaw trans athletes in girls’ sports and gender transition treatment for children. Washington state could require genital exams for girls in school athletics. wapo.st/48nAxsN

The ultimate result of “my body my choice”, with a demand driven health service rather than an ethics “best interests” health system is for any radical body modification and beliefs to drive interventions. We will see more harms to the most vulnerable, and inevitable legal claims.
Shocking new data out of Washington state on trans-related diagnoses. "Even measured against the DSM-5’s highest estimates, the 2022 rate among teen girls in Washington was nearly 600 times greater, and among teen boys nearly 60 times greater." By @LeorSapir in @CityJournal.

I agree. Buck, we'd love to have you!
Replying to @BuckAngel
Tbh I think both @BuckAngel & @datadriven_tdoc should go on each other’s podcasts. Buck, Dr. Laura’s podcast is called “agree to disagree about gender” (@A2GAboutGender) and it is co-hosted by Dr. Laura who is a trans advocate & by Yvette Nary (@AndInTheEnd2) who is a gender critical woman. They disagree with each other on a lot, and sometimes find common ground. But more interestingly, they host a variety of guests who comprise every flavor of both niche and mainstream pro-trans & gender critical opinions, which they explore thoroughly and in depth. I for one, think you would make a very interesting guest on their podcast. And they too, especially as a duo, would make a very interesting addition to yours.

In this clip, I ask Steph Richards (@PompeySteph) about whether her advocacy for trans people to live as women extends to anyone who simply identifies as a woman, even if they have not made meaningful and recognizable steps towards a transition... Hear her surprising answer.....

It is deeply concerning that anyone can lose their livelihood for expressing the biological fact that there are two sexes and that humans cannot choose nor change their sex.
Got the FOI documents back. The European Commission terminated my supplier contract because I had opinions that are against “EU values”. The type of contacts I was employed under was illegal (false freelance), and terminating contracts for beliefs is also illegal. This is all according to @EU_Commission’s own rules. The values I hold that are anti-EU: sex is real and it matters.
