Following planned operational activities at Andøya Spaceport, there has been an incident. Crisis Management has been activated at Andøya Spaceport. We are collaborating with the emergency services and Isar Aerospace to gain an overview of the situation.

Isar Aerospace has received the license from the NCAA for its first test flight. This also allows Andøya Spaceport to validate our Initial Operating Capability for supporting orbital launches from Norway. Exciting times and congratulation to Isar Aerospace!

Did you know that icing can be a huge problem for drones? 🥶
Andøya Space has developed IceWarn, a sensor system that monitors and evaluates the risk of icing. If icing conditions are imminent, the system will alert the drone pilot.
