Shocked and so sorrowed to learn of Dominic's passing. We started our careers in malaria at Guy's Hospital together in the early 80's and his vision, passion & drive were abundantly clear. Irreplaceable.
We are deeply saddened to share that Dominic Kwiatkowski passed away last week.
Dominicโs leadership and vision were foundational to MalariaGEN and it was his ambitious vision that created this large, inclusive network of scientists working together to eliminate malaria.

These programmes have been some of the most impactful training programmes I have encountered. Such a shame
@wellcometrust PhD programmes have built incredible cohorts that are establishing life-long networks. They support innovation, help ECRs build groups, and provide transkills of value to all career paths.
They are the glue that sustains many centres of excellence in UK science.
