Ace dropped 30 three separate times as a rookie. He hasn’t even hit 20 yet this season, and I’m more impressed with what I’m watching right now. This is my favorite kind of thing to dive into. A team without a ton of media attention trying to build something, and a player who took an onslaught of criticism and is starting to show real progress in the things that are coachable. That’s what stood out to me in these two losses. Not some huge scoring night, just more and more possessions where Ace looks like he understands how he can impact winning and when the simple play is the right one offensively. You gotta love basketball to dig this hard for the silver linings of two losses for a team that was well below .500 last season, but I said “I do” to basketball a couple decades ago 😂 #utahjazz #NBA

The shooting is still the question. Everything else is getting impossible to question. I get it… they aren’t Klay from beyond the arc. But they do a hell of a lot everywhere else. Amen and Ausar are already making those offseason contracts look justified. I'm clearly a JT fan, but I can't understand how JB's pettiness has become something admirable. It's not "anti-establishment." It's not "player first." The spin cycle tour he went on was something else, and the majority took the bait hook, line and sinker. That's the narrative JB created to avoid the hard truth: he's just not as good as JT, especially for the Celtics. Not saying there's NO truth to JB's side of things, but I think there's a lot less than people want to believe. At the end of the day, it's basketball.

The 2nd unit can actually build a lead now instead of just surviving until SGA comes back. Mitchell and McCain bring instant offense and Mara is already impacting games with his height around the rim. SGA rests while J-Dub leads the offense, then J-Dub rests while SGA is fresh off the bench. Most importantly, they each get time to catch their breath and have the legs to finish the game.
