The Lions scored on 7 straight drives Sunday, the longest streak in the NFL this season. Detroit is averaging 32.8 PPG this season, currently the most in the NFL. It's the second-most points they've scored through five games in franchise history, behind only last season (34.8 PPG) πŸ“ˆ

The Lions defense had less talent in both 2023 and 2024 than they do now. If the 2024 team was healthy then no, but go look up who was starting games for the team the last several weeks lmao. So the idea that this is mainly a personnel issue over coaching doesn’t add up to me even a little bit when those 2 teams performed significantly better than this one. The ceiling for this defense is very clearly better than being the worst in the NFL, let alone one of the worst ever in the history of the league. Getting the absolute worst out of the unit comes down to coaching.

The Lions, since 2023 have always needed just an average defense. Middle of pack. 15th-20th range and this team wins a superbowl at least twice. The offense is that good to carry an avg defense that can get the occasional stop and turnover. It can't carry a 32nd ranked D

80% of oil and gas traffic has returned in the strait of Hormuz per @wsj. Shipments hit their highest level since February last week. Iran has no bargaining power, its economy has totally collapsed. wsj.com/world/middle-east/mi…

Middle East Oil Exports Rebound as Iran’s Chokehold on Hormuz Breaks Down

The erosion of Iran’s position comes as the U.S. Navy and Gulf oil producers have become better at fending off or evading Iranian attacks, allowing more tankers to cross the strait.

haven't stuck up for Brad in a long time and prob won't again for a while BUT I will say this...they knew they'd get Branch back so addressing the Kerby spot with Clark wasn't a total fumble drop. Clark has started games, has been okay so far. The CB spot is the real issue to me

The Lions didn’t fall off because they lost Ben Johnson They fell off because their all-world center retired, other core linemen dipped, and their secondary became a graveyard Just a frustrating narrative to me with all respect to how brilliant Ben is
