A lovely autumnal walk through The Vyne estate today. Vivid colours, and two ducks having a fight (not a mating ritual, it was a proper barney!)

Last night’s Halloween snacks went down well 🎃 👻

I decorated gingerbread men last weekend (because I’m 7). The one on the bottom-left was supposed to be in a t-shirt but it just looks like his entrails have unraveled 😂

As is tradition, the "Dangerous Tale" nearest to Halloween is always one I've written myself. Enjoy this year's original: "The Woman Who Stole Hearts" (link below)... 🎃

I wonder if we’d be allowed to submit this as our Eurovision entry next year…? 😂

I’m sure you had a rock n roll Saturday night, but did you spend yours painting a frog on your girlfriend’s watering can? I don’t think so… 🐸

A Rudyard Kipling classic for you today: "They". A man, lost in the Sussex countryside, finally finds a friendly old woman who can help him. But her initial appearances hide a much deeper, darker secret...

I love this - we need to have more media: art, tapestries, movies, music videos, etc - where Wadard just shows up with a sword on his horse! “Here is Wadard”!
maybe the funniest part of the bayeux tapestry is when they briefly pause the narrative to show you a guy called wadard who then never shows up again

Had a great time at @ReadingRep’s production of Dracula tonight. Incredible cast, and inspired production. I even made it through the scary bits! Bravo! 🧛

Another spooky delight for your Sunday afternoon or evening... A man moves to a fashionable seaside town for a year - for the good of his health - along with his family. To their horror, they get a lot more from their new home than they bargained for... (link below)
