Let's be clear: Christianity built Western civilization.
Not as a vague cultural backdrop. As the actual engine.
It all comes down to one sentence: "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free."
Think about what that implies. Truth exists. Truth is one. Truth is knowable. And seeking it isn't rebellion against God. It's worship.
"In the beginning was the Logos." Reason. If the universe was created by a rational mind, then the universe is rational. It follows laws. And those laws can be discovered.
Most civilizations never made that leap. Nature was a battlefield of capricious gods to appease, or an eternal cycle going nowhere, or an illusion to escape. Why would you study the laws of something you don't believe has laws?
Christians believed otherwise. So monks preserved ancient knowledge for a thousand years. The Church gave birth to the university. The Benedictines said "pray and work," turned labor into something sacred, and spread water mills across Europe. Monasteries built some of the first mechanical clocks.
Then came the scientists. Copernicus was a church canon. Kepler said he was thinking God's thoughts after Him. Newton wrote more about theology than physics. Mendel was a friar. Lemaître, the father of the Big Bang theory, was a Catholic priest.
They weren't scientists despite their faith. They were scientists because of it.
Add two more ideas. Time is linear: history has a beginning and is going somewhere, so progress becomes thinkable. And every human is made in the image of God: individual dignity, individual conscience, the worth of the craftsman and the worker.
Put it all together. An intelligible universe. A sacred duty to seek truth. The belief that tomorrow can be better than today. The dignity of work and of every single person.
That's the recipe. Science, then technology, then the Industrial Revolution. It happened in Christian Europe. Not by accident.
We are still living off the interest of that capital. The real question is what happens when we stop believing in the things that produced it.
Elon Musk: I'm a big believer in the principles of Christianity.
“While I'm not a particularly religious person, I do believe that the teachings of Jesus are good and wise and that there's tremendous wisdom in Turn the other cheek.
For a while, when I was young, I thought that's really a weak thing to do.
With respect to bullies at school, I think you shouldn't turn the other cheek. You should punch them on the nose and then thereafter make peace with them. They need to stop bullying you, and a punch in the nose will stop that.
This notion of forgiveness is important. I think it's essential because if you don't forgive, then an eye for an eye makes everyone blind. If you're going to seek vengeance, you have this never-ending cycle of vengeance.
So, I'm actually a big believer in the principles of Christianity. I think they're very good.”

SpaceX no longer needs NASA. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s the best era yet for commercial spaceflight.
SpaceX has told NASA it will stop flying Crew Dragon to the ISS by or before 2030. It has stopped selling commercial Falcon 9 launches after 2028, and is no longer bidding on new U.S. Space Force contracts or certain lunar payload services.
This means SpaceX no longer relies on government budgets to survive. Starlink and its AI business are already generating their own cash flow. The flood of government contracts is now opening real opportunities for Blue Origin, Relativity Space, Stoke Space, and others.
Imagine if SpaceX were still dependent on NASA contracts, most other rocket companies wouldn’t have a chance to survive.
Now SpaceX is flying on its own and leaving the sky open for everyone else.
It’s not walking away. It’s flipping the entire era.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about, and talking to people about a post-Falcon world. Why sunset the world’s best rocket? Can Starship replace it? What about Artemis? Why are SpaceXers flocking to Memphis? Grab a coffee, this is a long one.

As the midterms approach, the Left has gone nearly berserk in its hatred of trillionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk. Yet its escalating venom would have been almost inconceivable before 2022, when Musk publicly declared that he would be voting Republican.

This is one of the biggest lessons we can learn from Elon Musk
“My philosophy is you play, you play to win. You don't play it by half measure”
When Elon Musk decides to do something, he doesn't do it halfway. He goes all in.
When he decided to enter the AI race, he didn't waste time. xAI transformed an empty factory in Memphis into Colossus, one of the world's largest AI supercomputers, in just 122 days.
Today, Colossus operates with more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs. Its computing power has attracted major AI competitors:
Anthropic pays a reported $1.25 billion per month for access to Colossus 1, and Google has secured around 110,000 GPUs for a reported $920 million per month.
Elon Musk says going to medical school is pointless
"Everyone will have access to medical care that is better than what the president receives right now"
Peter Diamandis: "So don't go into medical school?"
Elon Musk: "Yes. Yeah. Pointless. But I would say that applies to any form of education"
"5 or 4 years from now, we'll have better medical care than anyone has today, available for everyone"
Mark Cuban says AI will never replace doctors, and we shouldn’t even try
"I don't think ever that will replace doctors, and we shouldn’t even try"
"You can have a robot there say, ‘How do you feel, Mark?’ Right? And the Terminator might walk in and say, ‘Your time is up.’ I don’t know"
"I'd rather have a human there with all five senses, being able to take a look and ask questions and see the crying mom or the crying son or child and be able to include that in the context"
"Where things might change dramatically, is how they’ll be trained in medical school"
"They won't be taught the exact same things"

BREAKING 🚨: Elon Musk has dropped an unprecedented bombshell, right inside the White House, in front of Donald Trump: 💥🏛️🇺🇸
“From now on, you will no longer need to work for any company... I will make sure everyone on Earth enjoys a celebrity-level lifestyle and income!”
Musk is completely challenging the traditional concept of government-provided “Universal Basic Income” (UBI) designed merely for survival, presenting a radical vision of a new form of capitalism.
According to Musk, how will everyone become wealthy? 👇
As AI and robots produce goods and services 24/7 without limits, the overall standard of living for all humanity will skyrocket, as if everyone were earning an astronomical salary!
Musk confidently declares: “Everyone will have access to better healthcare than I personally receive!” Through the combination of superintelligent AI and precision surgical robots, top-tier medical care could become available to everyone at virtually no cost.
AI will handle the thinking, while robots build roads and structures, grow crops, and manufacture products. With forced labor becoming a thing of the past, the phrase “I don’t have enough money to buy what I need” could disappear from the human vocabulary entirely!
While 99% of humanity worries that “AI will take their jobs,” Musk envisions a future where “an army of autonomous robots will turn every single person into a king, living a life of total ease!”

Elon Musk on why autonomy changes the math of a car.
"A typical passenger car is about 10 hours of use a week. But if it's autonomous, it could be used 100 hours a week."
A car that drives itself can keep working while you sleep, while you're at work, while you're on vacation.
Same car. Same cost. Up to 10x the use.
Elon said this at X Takeover in July 2024.
Today Robotaxi runs fully unsupervised across 254 square miles of Houston.
The math is starting to show up on the road.

🚨 Vladimir Putin compares Elon Musk to legendary Soviet space pioneer Sergei Korolev.
During a visit to Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Putin praised Musk’s vision and ambition to reach Mars.
He described people like Musk as rare individuals driven by ideas that may seem impossible today but could become reality tomorrow.
History has shown that some of the biggest breakthroughs begin as ideas others struggle to believe in.

Tesla once paid a penalty for giving the US government its money back too early. In May 2013, it repaid a $465,000,000 federal loan about 9 years ahead of schedule, with interest.
In the video below, Elon Musk is asked why he would do that when nobody was making him.
The loan came in 2010, through a federal program for alternative energy companies. It wasn’t due for roughly another decade, and Tesla could have kept the cash and used it to grow.
Musk says he simply doesn’t like having a lot of debt. He also felt Tesla owed taxpayers for backing it when the company was small, so it should pay them back as soon as it could.
Once Tesla’s stock was doing well, he used that moment to wipe out the loan completely, penalty and all. He says the payment went back with a thank-you note.
He also admits the loan was not what saved Tesla. That was an investment from Daimler, the maker of Mercedes, in May 2009, when no other company of any kind would put money in. The government money only helped Tesla move faster.
Paying a penalty to get out of debt early looks like losing money on paper. Musk saw it as buying freedom, and as keeping a promise to the people who took a chance on him.
Would you pay extra to be debt-free years early, or keep the cheap loan and invest the difference?

Elon Musk on why his companies move faster than anyone else.
"I'm constantly addressing the limiting factor. Whatever the limiting factor is on speed, I'm going to tackle that. If capital is the limiting factor, I'll solve for capital. If it's not the limiting factor, I'll solve for something else."
He then said something most managers never figure out:
"If something is going really well and making good progress, there's no point in me spending time on it.The irony is if something's going really well, they don't see much of me. But if something is the limiting factor, they'll see a lot of me."
He spends his time entirely on whatever is blocking the next step. Not on what's interesting or what he's best at. But on whatever is the bottleneck right now.
Most leaders do the opposite... They gravitate toward what they're comfortable with and away from the hard problem.
