This is the standard of Green councillors in Bath.
Joanna Wright and Saskia Heijltjes are out celebrating the rejection of a Lidl, a cheaper much needed supermarket because it might affect traffic, some bats, and the existing Waitrose/Morrisons/Co-op.
They literally posted that people still need help with the cost of living and cheaper food… then posed in a field like they’d just won something.
Blocking a budget store while patting yourselves on the back for “recognising” the cost of living crisis is toddler behaviour. Bath residents who want cheaper food can just deal with it.
Absolute fools. Is there any hope for the residents of Bath ? 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Huge respect to Honorary Alderman David Dixon for leading the petition calling on B&NES to pause and properly reconsider the cycleway through Royal Victoria Park. Thousands of signatures, plus ~84% of consultation responses objecting or partly objecting, show how strongly locals feel. The council starting works then having to revoke its own order after overlooking a key objection only underlines how out of touch they are with residents who use and value the park. Time for a genuine rethink rather than pushing ahead regardless.

Migrants get a boat to the Canary Islands where they are helped by the Red Cross. They are then flown from Canary Islands to mainland Spain. They are then helped by the Red Cross (again) in getting to France. Free public transport across France to the migrant camps where they are looked after by all the NGOs until they eventually get on a boat to the UK. Its all very co-ordinated & well organised. Look at the boats the migrants use, they arent inflatable dinghies, ur not telling me they are destroyed after each journey. Spain and France are helping these men get to the UK with free flights & public transport 🤬🤬 @GBNEWS @PatrickChristys
