I always use an "armor" quality phone case, so I never have that problem.

Samsung made the change in 2014. LG did this in 2016, same time Iphones stopped having a headset port. IMO I think the headset change seems way more obnoxious than the battery change. But I didn't know iphones hadn't done that yet, though. I learned something today!
