@EdwinSifuna's argument is different. - A President isn't supposed to know everything... - That is why a Republic has Cabinet Secretaries. - Principal Secretaries. - Engineers. - Economists. - Doctors. - Teachers. - Civil servants. - Parliament. - Courts. - Independent institutions. The Country should not depend on the genius of one man. - It should depend on institutions that work. 📍And that leads to perhaps the most interesting argument I have heard him make. - ✓ No President takes an oath to build a road. - ✓ Or a market. - ✓ Or a stadium. The Presidential oath is to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. - That doesn't mean roads don't matter. - It means something much bigger. 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 G𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬. - Hospitals should work because the health system works. - Children should learn because the education system works. - Opportunities should exist because the economy works. - Citizens should not require Presidential benevolence to receive ordinary Government. 📍And perhaps this is where Sifuna becomes more interesting to me than simply another opposition candidate. - He may be beginning to articulate a different idea of the Presidency itself. Less 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫. More 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜. But there is still a very long road between political possibility and State House. - Sifuna must build an organization. - He must withstand money. - He must survive success. - He must prevent yesterday's political opportunists from capturing tomorrow's movement. And most importantly, he must turn something incredibly fragile—affection—into machinery. - ✓ Likability must become identification. - ✓ Identification must become organisation. - Organisation must become registration. - Registration must become turnout. - And turnout must become protected votes. That is the test. - I sometimes think about those two conversations I had in 2022. - Perhaps my sibling and my friend were right to dismiss me. - Because if either of them had asked me exactly what I saw in Edwin Sifuna then, I'm not sure I could have explained it. - I can now. - I wasn't looking at a finished politician. - I wasn't even looking at a Presidential candidate. I think I was watching political gravity beginning to form. 📍Four years later, things are beginning to fall towards it. - And I am still watching.

His name is Amos Boaz, his profile is @HammerHamm026 a Communications Officer in the Office of the Trans Nzoia Governor @GeorgeNatembeya he has been taken at gunpoint in Kitale town by the DCI. Kindly help us amplify so that they can officially and lawfully present him to a police station and we can confirm he is alive and well. Under this regime we have seen young men and women die even in police cells so we demand his release as we call out the clear harassment of Commando by the state! Shame on you Kasongo!

This morning, before you go to work, DECLARE THE WORD OF GOD OVER YOUR LIFE! 🙏🔥 Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I commit this day into Your hands. I DECLARE THAT THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT. (Psalm 23:1) The Lord shall establish the work of my hands. Whatever I do, I commit it to Him, trusting that He will direct my steps. (Proverbs 16:3, Proverbs 16:9) I declare that I am blessed when I come in, and blessed when I go out. (Deuteronomy 28:6) The Lord shall command His blessing upon my storehouses and all that I set my hand to do. (Deuteronomy 28:8) I shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, for the Lord is my refuge and my fortress. (Psalm 91:2, 5) The Lord shall guide me continually, satisfy my soul in drought, and strengthen my bones. (Isaiah 58:11) I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment shall be condemned. (Isaiah 54:17) The Lord shall go before me and make the crooked places straight. He will not leave me nor forsake me. (Isaiah 45:2, Deuteronomy 31:8) I receive wisdom from God, for He gives wisdom generously to those who ask Him. (James 1:5) I AM THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL; ABOVE ONLY AND NOT BENEATH, as I walk in obedience to the Lord my God. (Deuteronomy 28:13) I will not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I will make my requests known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6–7) This day belongs to the Lord. I will walk in faith, work diligently, speak with wisdom, and trust Him with the outcome. IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME, AMEN! Before you leave the house, speak the Word of God over your life. Walk in faith, and let your confidence be in the Lord. “Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV) 🔥 GO OUT IN FAITH. THE LORD IS WITH YOU!

You will never understand the level of sexual immorality I was in before God began working on me. 😂😂 Imagine being a 15-year-old boy in seminary and shooting your shot at a Catholic nun! 😭😭 Yes, you heard me right! A 15-year-old boy telling a nun, “I am in love with you. Can we date?” 😂😂😂 At 15, instead of concentrating on my studies and spiritual formation, I was busy planning romantic relationships with a nun. Somebody should have called my parents! 😂😂 Sneaking out of school just to go and see a girl? I was doing things you would not believe. My testimony is a whole book on its own! 😭😂 But look at what God can do with a person who allows Him to work on their life. Today, when you see me being careful around women, not hugging every woman anyhow or entertaining unnecessary closeness, please understand something: I know my weaknesses, I know where I came from, and I know the things that can put me in trouble. I am not trying to prove that I am stronger than temptation. I am protecting what God is doing in my life. And let me tell you something, especially to my unmarried brothers and sisters who are walking in purity. I ENVY YOU! 😂❤️ If you are a virgin and you have kept yourself pure, please understand that you are carrying something precious. Do not lose it because of pressure from friends, social media, loneliness, or the desire to prove that you are mature. Do not misuse that treasure. Do not allow anyone to make you feel backward because you have chosen to wait until marriage. And please, never feel ashamed or guilty because you are a virgin! There is absolutely nothing embarrassing about preserving yourself. The world may laugh at you, but you do not owe anyone an explanation for your decision to honour God with your body. And if you have already fallen, please do not think your story is over. Repent, receive God's forgiveness, rise again, and make a fresh commitment to walk in purity. Your past does not have to dictate your future. Purity is not just about being a virgin. It is also about learning to honour God with your body, your thoughts, your relationships, and your decisions. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:18: “Flee sexual immorality.” Notice that the Bible says FLEE! Sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is run away from that relationship, block that number, leave that environment, and stop entertaining conversations that are taking you in the wrong direction. 😂🏃‍♂️ I know where God brought me from, and I am determined to keep growing in Him. To everyone walking in purity, keep going. You are not missing out on life by obeying God. You are learning to honour Him, even when nobody is watching. May God give us the grace to walk in holiness, purity, and self-control. 🙏🏽

Now is when you get to see that, beyond comedy, some of our friends lack basic reasoning and understanding. This is what we’ve been dealing with behind the scenes for years. I’m glad we are now all experiencing it together. 😁

Last year July, I met Jirongo. We sat at Cedars, Lenana Road. I expressed my disappointment with the elusive Luhya unity and the constant competition amongst Luhya siblings. I then met Governor Natembeya somewhere in Karen. At the time, he was enjoying national attention with his Tawe slogan. He was with Caleb Hamisi. I told the Governor that I am volunteering to unite him with Eugene and Jirongo, and also see it that through Eugene and Jirongo's parties, a union of ideas can be born. At the time, Malava by-election campaigns were ongoing, and Panyako was running on Jirongo's party. I then met Jirongo the next day at Kiprono Kittony's Sirwo Coffee Restaurant in Lavington. He agreed to meet the Governor and then Eugene Wamalwa to unite them, so that they don't fall out. We agreed that I should spearhead talks with younger Luhya politicians like Malala, Hamisi and Sifuna, then, together with Eugene, we would meet Mzee Atwoli, who would take us to Oparanya, Wetangula, and Musalia. He also tasked me with meeting Governor Fernandes, so he would agree to end the conflicts between him, Nabii Nabwera, and Oparanya. Our goal was for these Luhya politicians to discard political differences and start speaking for the M'baluhya. Our other goal was for the older generation of Luhya politicians like Musalia and Gumo to support and mentor the younger ones. From Busia to Busali, from Likuyani to Nyang'ori, from Kitale to Luanda, every corner of Luhya land would be speaking with one voice. After the meeting, he called Panyako to follow up on Malava's campaign. All was well. He then said he was travelling to Libya and would be back in October. We parted ways amicably, and I travelled back to Western. A few days later, I saw Panyako with Natembeya, and I thought Jirongo had chosen not to field a candidate. CJ was later disappointed that Panyako abandoned the party even after being funded to run on it. Then Malala and DCP also dropped from the race, and I thought Jirongo had talked to him, as this was our behind-the-scenes discussion. Since CJ had left, I chose to focus on other things. On October 15th at around 6 am, I saw CJ's call and knew he was setting up another meeting, only for him to break the news of Baba's death. This therefore meant we would wait. He set up a meeting in January 2026 because after the Funeral, there would be so much happening like by-elections in Malava, and then Christmas holidays. "Amerix, we don't have time. If we don't unite these politicians now that Baba has left us, we shall be scattered," he said. Unfortunately, CJ lost his life, on 13th December. It was so devastating. A sad loss. Now, when I see Caleb, Natembeya, and Eugene bickering, I get so disappointed. Caleb has his party. Natembeya has taken CJ's party. Eugene has his party. Even the fact that Kalonzo has ring-fenced "Ukombozi" yet Natembeya had all the time to amend Jirongo's party makes me wonder if Luhya political leaders are strategic and intelligent. Political success requires strategy, cunning, Machiavellianism, persuasion, give-and-take and ruthless pursuit of goals, not just slogans and rallies. Luhya politicians appear clueless, disorganized and and jealous of each other. No one wants to see the other reach the top political summit. Please, Abaluhya politicians, put aside your egotistical differences and work for the M'baluhya. You will never attract meaningful collaboration if your house is divided. Luhyas are stranded. It is embarrassing. I want to restart the journey of talking to these politicians. Change or Perish.

Kenyans, forgive me. I thought I would vote for Edwin W. Sifuna. I have always thought of waking up at 4AM on August 10, 2027, to vote for Edwin Sifuna but after listening to his speeches, evaluating his vision and what he wants for Kenya and Kenyans, I love him more and will wake up at 3am to vote for him. My president, my choice.
