People clown the “Toji beats Jogo” take, but when you look at what fully realized Maki becomes by the end of JJK…it’s not crazy at all.
Maki is explicitly portrayed as reaching Toji’s level, and she made Sukuna acknowledge her strength, doing significant damage.
Jogo would have died here, straight up.

• Squad Zero releasing their full power was enough to shake the Three Worlds, yet Ichigo eclipses them in power by the end + BLOOD CHAINS
• The Soul King’s death starts causing those Three Worlds to collapse + Ichigo is a SOUL KING candidate
• Yhwach absorbs the Soul King and becomes the being holding that entire cosmological balance
Ichigo can still damage and eventually kill that version of Yhwach and he was afraid of his TRUE Bankai.
The Naruto verse is insanely strong But BLEACH’S top-end scaling is just operating on a different level.

After the war, Sasuke was WORLD-FAMOUS.
Rogue shinobi admired what he did at the Five Kage Summit, and wanted to surpass him.
And instead of feeding that reputation…Sasuke started doing the complete opposite of his old self.
This SCENE was SICK, Sasuke took down the Coliseum and FREEING all the shinobi being forced to fight.
PEOPLE ARE READING WAY TOO DEEP INTO THIS 😭 KISHIMOTO IS JUST NOT A GOONER.
And honestly, that’s one of the things I RESPECT about him.
This is the same man who said drawing Sakura and Naruto in a bikini or revealing clothes felt embarrassing.
He was even too shy/awkward to directly draw Naruto and Hinata’s kiss.
THE BORUTO HATE IS SO FORCED BECAUSE PEOPLE KEEP PUNISHING HIM FOR ACTING LIKE… A CHILD 😭
People act like Boruto was just some spoiled kid who randomly hated Naruto…but that’s NOT what happened.
Boruto and Naruto were VERY close when he was younger. The real change came after Naruto became Hokage and suddenly had almost no time for his family.
That’s WHY Boruto started acting out.
He wasn’t angry because Naruto was a bad dad from birth.
He was angry because he remembered what Naruto USED to be like.
And that makes his tantrums way more understandable.
Kishimoto has literally talked about how becoming a father changed the way he wrote Naruto, saying Naruto reflects parts of both himself and his child, and that parenthood gave him a completely different perspective on family.
So Boruto acting immature here is not “bad writing.”
It’s the POINT.
He’s a kid who suddenly feels like the father he loves is choosing an entire village over him.
Then his whole character arc is learning what being Hokage actually means, understanding Naruto’s sacrifice, and eventually becoming someone willing to protect that same village himself.
That’s CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
People skip the development and then complain the character developed badly 💀
ICHIGO x RUKIA WAS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN 😭
Kubo just straight-up explained that he decided BLEACH’S ending VERY early in the series.
And the ending he planned was always:
Ichigo and Rukia meet at the beginning…then the story ends with Ichigo’s child and Rukia’s child meeting.
Ichigo and Rukia were always meant to change each other’s lives…not end up together. #BLEACH

So Asta is doing the exact thing Morgen always tried to do: save Nacht from himself and to believe in living again.
ASTA’S GROWTH IS ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS WHEN YOU PUT THESE TWO MOMENTS SIDE BY SIDE 🔥
At the START of Black Clover, this man genuinely thought:

Fast-forward to now…
Asta's DEVIL UNION casually batting away a MASSIVE country-sized attack like it’s a baseball and saving EVERYONE.
THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SKIP ENTIRE CANON ARCS ARE ALWAYS THE ONES COMPLAINING THAT THE STORY “MAKES NO SENSE” 😭💀
Look at the arcs they’re telling people to skip:
Five Kage Summit: skip Sasuke’s complete descent, Danzo’s death, Naruto confronting what Sasuke has become, Obito declaring the Fourth Ninja War and basically ALL the setup for the endgame.
• Bleach — Fullbring: skip Ichigo losing his identity without his powers, Ginjo’s betrayal, the history of the Substitute Shinigami system and the emotional reason Ichigo choosing Soul Society AGAIN actually matters.
• Buu Saga: skip Vegeta’s sacrifice and redemption, Gohan’s Ultimate form, Fusion, Super Saiyan 3, the Supreme Kai lore and literally the END of Dragon Ball Z 😭
BORUTO IS ABSURDLY BROKEN… BUT I STILL THINK ASTA BEATS HIM 😭🍀
Look at the matchup:
• Speed: Asta was already reacting to light-speed attacks WAY earlier in Black Clover and has since scaled through Devil Union, Lucifero, Lucius and Zetten. Current Asta can move WAY faster than light and make constellations.
• Zetten: It massively amplifies Asta’s speed and power while letting him wait for the opponent to reveal their move and counter at the perfect moment, making him unbeatable according to Yosuga.
• Ki: Shadow Clones and misdirection are much less useful when Asta can read breathing, muscle movement, life force, emotions and intent — he’s even identified the real body among identical clones before. Boruto would have to delete his chakra signal being otsutsuki at all times.
• Precognition counter: Lucius can literally observe future possibilities, yet Asta’s existence creates futures he cannot properly account for. Momoshiki warning Boruto about what comes next isn’t an instant win-condition here.
• Flying Raijin: Boruto himself admits his version still requires more concentration and preparation than Minato’s. Asta has already dealt with spatial/teleportation-style opponents moving around him.
• Uzuhiko: Probably Boruto’s BEST win-condition… but it needs setup. Boruto has to gather the planet’s rotational chakra and, at full power, remain planted while charging. Giving someone as fast as Asta that opening is HORRIBLE.
• Durability: Asta survived direct punishment from Lucifero and Lucius when attacks at that level were folding basically everyone else and then kept fighting.
• Attack power: Asta has defeated opponents whose power threatened entire countries/world-level stakes, destroyed Lucifero’s manifestation, Lucius who scales 4 times stronger than that and cut through small planets.
Boruto absolutely has the more versatile arsenal and A ridiculous amount of Ōtsutsuki experience.
But the problem is actually LANDING the win-condition.
Asta is faster, physically stronger, ridiculously difficult to trick, can read Boruto’s attacks before they happen, and Zetten is literally designed around letting you move first so he can counter.
Boruto’s best chance is landing Uzuhiko.
Asta’s best chance is simply never giving him enough time to use it.

TO BE FAIR… DOESN’T THIS Nagato fight JUST PROVE SASUKE NEVER FULLY USED THE RINNEGAN PROPERLY AGAINST NARUTO? 😭
Even Kurama points out that he still wasn’t experienced with it yet.
Which is exactly why I NEED Naruto: Shadow Rising to finally show us a post-war Sasuke who has had YEARS to master that eye.
BORUTO’S WRITING IS WAY MORE UNDERRATED THAN PEOPLE GIVE IT CREDIT FOR 😭
Koji has spent Two Blue Vortex treating the future like a calculation.
Find the best outcome and Avoid emotion.
But Chapter 38 might be showing him CHANGE.
When Boruto wants to save Sarada, Koji stops being objective for once and tells him:
“Just follow your heart. She’s waiting for you.”
But this could have a double MEANING.
Because When Shikamaru went against the village, ignored what everyone believed about Boruto and followed his heart, Koji tells him:
“What you believed was right.”
“Keep following your heart… to achieve a good future.”
Which makes Jura calling love a “fatal weakness” even more interesting.
Because Boruto might prove the complete opposite:
Love could be the thing that creates the future Koji couldn’t predict. 👀🔥
I THINK WE FINALLY KNOW WHAT WILL AWAKEN BORUTO’S PURE EYE IN TWO BLUE VORTEX 👁️🔥
And everything is pointing toward SARADA being the trigger.
Toneri told Boruto that
“The power of hope slumbers deep within you.”
And Urashiki later recognises that mysterious eye as the Jōgan.
Now fast-forward to TBV Chapter 38…
Boruto is once again being pushed into a situation where someone he deeply cares about could die, Momoshiki is waiting for him to break, and Sarada is becoming his biggest emotional trigger.
Then look at Jura's statement when he almost killed Boruto
“Perhaps this is some divine intervention.”
That wording is WAY too interesting especially since Boruto told Sarada never give up on hope.
So what if Sarada’s crisis is finally forces that dormant power back out to save her?
