im four beers deep and i need everyone to understand that wikipedia is the last good thing. millions of strangers agreed to write down everything for free and then argue about citations forever. no ads. no paywall. this should not exist and it does and i'm crying about it

I build an app that lets you play physical card games against anyone in the world using @specs! Stream your playmat, cards, lifepoints, dice rolls, anything to your opponent remotely. Keeping the magic of playing physical cards together with the newest tech! :) @specsfordevs
Whats really insidious to me about these endless posts about stockpiling food and water, and the potential for some kind of world-wide lockdown or global disaster event, is that post-monetizing social media, we have no idea whether some or most of the panic being spread is just so a few account-holders can increase their monthly payout, by turning fear into engagement bait.

Lisso started as an idea for smartglasses. Although we've got an IOS version now, smartglasses still feel like its natural home. Here's a first version for the Meta Ray-Ban Display, translating pretty much any object around you into your chosen language. A fun way to learn a new language, or just helpful while travelling abroad. Further updates soon!
The fact that AI sound like an American person is expected, I mean what else would it sound like? Just like in the movies. And at the same time symbolically this says so much about the world (western world at least) where we are increasingly shaped entirely by US-made tools and thus thinking, and where decisions like policing, healthcare, law and policy-making are increasingly AI-assisted. This is about more than a voice or an accent.
