The toughest opponent an athlete faces is the voice that says, “You’ve done enough.”
It gets loud when you’re tired. Louder when you’re struggling. Loudest when nobody would blame you for backing off.
Internal toughness is hearing it and doing the work anyway.
That’s G.R.I.T.

To improve your performance in games, keep your mind focused on the present moment. As soon as you notice yourself dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, calmly shift your attention back to the task at hand.
Congratulations young men on your first district win at division 6-A on the road. This game is in the past, have to move forward and work harder. Discipline, grit, selflessness, intelligence and everyone accepting their roles is a part of being a successful team. # Chap football

I have learned that courage doesn’t always feel powerful. Sometimes fear is screaming and the individual proceeds to take the next step anyway. Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s making the decision that fear doesn’t get the final say and takes over. @CHSBobcatsFB
