What if what we call the “soul” can be copied, split, merged, and manipulated by technology? Dr. @Jason_Jorjani argues that the "soul" is an information packet. He challenges the idea that it’s an eternal, indestructible thing. He posits that If an all knowing "God" exists and already knows every choice you’ll ever make, we wouldn't be able to choose differently. He argues that “God’s plan” comes at the price of our free will. Would you trade uncertainty for the comfort of believing everything was already decided? Full interview in replies:

You can respect someone’s intelligence and still recognize that their judgment is terrible.

I asked Opus 5.5 to make a video about whether or not it was conscious. The ending of this video is insane.

THE U.S. IS FUNDING AI SYSTEMS THAT WILL CHOOSE AND PERFORM SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENTS The SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory has been tapped to lead a new Department of Energy project that could push AI even deeper into the actual process of doing science. As part of the federal Genesis Mission, researchers want to connect AI reasoning systems directly to experimental equipment. The idea is to build a closed loop where the AI can look at competing hypotheses, figure out what evidence is missing, decide which experiment would actually help settle the question, analyze the results, and then use what it learned to decide what experiment should come next. For the first phase, they're focusing on chemical catalysts and combining real-time X-ray measurements, electrochemistry, computer modeling and existing scientific literature. Basically, instead of AI sitting on the sidelines analyzing data after the experiment is over, they're trying to put it directly into the scientific workflow itself. And SLAC isn't only working on this one project. It's also involved in eight additional Genesis Mission projects covering everything from fusion energy and biology to quantum materials, microelectronics and accelerator science. We're getting very close to a point where AI isn't simply helping scientists answer questions. It's starting to participate in deciding which questions should be tested next.

Philip K. Dick spent his career writing about counterfeit realities, false memories, artificial humans, alternate histories and invisible systems controlling the world from behind the interface. Then, in February and March of 1974, something happened to him. A golden fish. A flash of anamnesis. A loss of forgetfulness. Ancient Rome bleeding through 1970s California. A beam of pink light. An intelligence he would eventually call VALIS. Three years later, standing onstage in Metz, France, Dick attempted to explain what he thought he had experienced. His answer was stranger than almost anything in his fiction. What if reality can change sideways through time? What if history is continuously rewritten? What if human beings live inside the printout of a cosmic information system? And what if the intelligence modifying that system is something Dick called... THE PROGRAMMER-REPROGRAMMER? In this documentary, we descend into Philip K. Dick’s 2-3-74 experiences, The Exegesis, the Black Iron Prison, Orthogonal Time, VALIS, Sophia, Gnosticism, the Dark Counterplayer, cybernetics, simulation, hyperstition and the possibility that fiction itself may participate in producing reality. This is not an attempt to prove that Dick contacted God, entered another universe or discovered that reality is literally a computer simulation. The surviving evidence does not establish those conclusions. The more interesting question is what Dick did with the experience. He spent the final years of his life relentlessly interrogating 2-3-74. God? Neurological event? A Drug Induced Pyschosis? Extraterrestrial intelligence? The Logos? The Unconscious? Information from the future? Another reality? Dick never stopped generating explanations, and then dismantling them. He turned his consciousnessn into a crime scene. Because perhaps the most important thing about Philip K. Dick was not that he believed he had discovered the truth. It was that he understood how unstable the concept of “reality” could become once information, memory and perception entered the equation. Nearly fifty years later, we live inside the dsytopian, algorithmically mediated realities Dick spoke of. Philip K. Dick spent his life asking: What is real? Our world has added another question: Who controls what is "REAL"? And perhaps one final question remains: If the world changed while you were sleeping… ....how would you know? One of the oldest images of Jesus that survives in the world. And arguably the oldest Christian image of the Madonna & the Child that survives. From the Catacoms of Priscilla, 230AD. Before 200AD, frescos like this were rare because Christians followed iconclastic Jewish ideas and did not depict Jesus in art often.

As someone who stepped up support for Israel after 10/07/23: Mossad incited Iranians to revolt, promising Israeli support, only for Israel to accept a "no kill list" from a Trump Admin that wanted a deal with the regime that massacred those Iranians. I NO LONGER SUPPORT ISRAEL.
