He took what he learned there, plus his years in software-defined radio, and started AnySignal to build what he calls “the operating system for the electromagnetic spectrum.”

A lot of the ground station capacity being built now will sit idle: wrong network, wrong waveform, or no license for the band the mission needs.
@rrrrickyyyy's fix:
1. radios on the spacecraft that can change band and waveform on command
2. one scheduler across every provider’s sites that knows what each can see, support, and is licensed to transmit on
3. operators buying contacts and data delivered, not antenna minutes
That way a site going down or a contested frequency doesn’t put your vehicle at risk.
