Tom Cruise says he spent months preparing Emily Blunt’s 85 pound exosuit for Edge of Tomorrow, only for her to struggle with its weight before he told her to “stop being a wuss” and later became overprotective after discovering she was secretly pregnant.
“I’d spent months prepping it and working on it,” Tom said.
“He told me to stop being a wuss. It was the best thing just to make me laugh because I was like, ‘If he hugs me right now, it’s over.’”
“During reshoots, Tom was confused about why I wasn’t doing all the stunts. Eventually, I told him, ‘Because I’m growing a human.’”
“He started helping me downstairs. He was almost overboard. I was like, ‘Tom, I’m fine. I can do stairs.’”

She had only studied English for a year in Thailand before moving to Korea to train. Once there, she focused on learning Korean and was pushed to do rap covers in a language she was still learning. The company failed to educate her on the meaning and cultural implications of the words she was asked to rap, yet now those leaked videos are being used to spread hate and label her as racist.
When the videos first surfaced, she reportedly wanted to issue an apology, but the company wouldn’t allow her to. Instead, she used her documentary to express her feelings and address the situation in her own way.
Context matters. She was a young trainee who depended on her company for guidance. Holding her accountable for her actions is one thing, but ignoring the circumstances, her lack of understanding at the time, and her reported attempt to apologize is another. People deserve the full context, not just leaked clips taken out of context to fuel hate.

Loki uses magic to hide his true Frost Giant form and appear as an Asgardian.
So why didn’t he turn blue at the TVA, a place where magic is suppressed and even the Infinity Stones don’t work????

The genius of that scene is that Snape wasn’t simply defending himself against McGonagall. He was fighting a war on two fronts, and almost nobody watching understood what he was really doing. When McGonagall launched her spells at him, Snape deflected them with such precision that they struck the Carrows instead. In that split second, he managed to protect his cover as Voldemort’s man while turning the Death Eaters’ own side against itself. He couldn’t openly reveal his allegiance without destroying the entire purpose of Dumbledore’s plan, so he had to let everyone believe he was the villain.
And look at the context. Snape was standing in Hogwarts, facing the woman who had trusted him as a colleague, knowing that she believed he had murdered Dumbledore. He couldn’t explain himself, couldn’t defend his reputation, and couldn’t tell her that everything he had done was part of a mission that could determine whether Harry survived. McGonagall saw a traitor fleeing the castle. The audience knew the truth, but even we could easily overlook how carefully he had to navigate that moment. He was fighting back without fighting her, protecting himself without killing her, and making sure the other Death Eaters became the targets instead.
That’s what makes Snape such a tragic character. He had to make himself look like the enemy to protect the people fighting against him. Even his escape from Hogwarts had to preserve the lie that he was loyal to Voldemort. He couldn’t afford to win that confrontation in a way that exposed him. He could only deflect, redirect, and disappear. And when you remember that McGonagall had no idea what he was sacrificing, the entire scene becomes even more painful. Snape didn’t get to be the hero in that room. He had to leave as the villain.

4th book 📕 mentions that all students could’ve been yelling that incantations and bleeding nose would be the maximum result Moody/Crouch would get.
It takes extreme darkness to do it. Even Dumbledore was too noble to use it.
Bellatrix, Snape and Dolohov are the only know Death Eaters to use it. You could add Malfoy if you count the movies.
